We stayed here for 1 night to visit a friend before travelling further north. The staff are so friendly & welcoming - the barman Jamie is hilarious & missing a vocation as a comedian. We had a huge room, a very comfortable bed & the food was delicious.

This place is lovely, The staff are so kind and friendly , the food was lovely and the room and communial areas are spotless. we had a lovely three days here. very profesional but homely. would go again whith out a doubt, The grounds were lovely . i have been in hospitality for 51 years and appreciate good service , you get that here

We had high hopes for our stay at Stallingborough Grange, and to be fair, the hotel itself is lovely and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, the experience was completely overshadowed by the worst night’s sleep we’ve ever had in a hotel. Our room was incredibly hot during the night, as the heating came on unexpectedly. To make matters worse, the window was broken and couldn’t be properly opened – we had to use a hardback book just to get it to stay ajar slightly. As you can imagine, we barely slept. When we reported this the next morning, we were met with a completely dismissive attitude from the staff. There was no apology or concern shown at all, which was incredibly disappointing after what had started as a lovely evening. Sadly, we wouldn’t stay here again, nor would we recommend it – not because of the facilities, but due to the poor handling of our complaint and lack of basic customer care.

Perfect afternoon tea! Fabulous food. A lovely variety of sandwiches, savouries and sweet cakes and scones. The service was excellent also, very olive and pleasant. A lovely drink in the sun afterwards to finish the experience off. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic day here. Met with family. Food was outstanding, as was the service. The staff were exceptional… will definitely return! Most had the fish and chips, some had the meat pie and one had the Scampi (Group of 11). Thank you guys

I was given a voucher for a luxury afternoon tea which expired by just over a week. I was unable to go due to serious illness which I explained to the receptionist however my condition had improved and I felt able to go. As the voucher was a Groupon Voucher the receptionist said there was nothing they could do, The hotel will have been paid by Groupon. I explained in detail the nature of my illness and hoped the hotel would be empathetic to my request. Absolutely not. Thus I will not set foot in this hotel ever again.

This was my first stay at Stallingborough Grange. I stayed 1 night with work. The bar and restaurant areas were great. There was ample seating and the staff were really helpful. Food was cooked to order and both the evening meal and breakfast were great. There’s plenty of free parking on site and easy access to major roads. The room was very dated. There bed was comfortable and the room was clean, but the furniture was old, the decor was drab and the bathroom was in need of remodelling. As a single female traveller I felt very comfortable and safe in the hotel and based on what’s available in the area it provides a good base for work.

Attended the New Years Eve celebrations, we had a standard double room, reasonable size, clean, bed comfy. Bathroom clean with toiletries, nice soft towels. All staff were friendly. Had drinks in the bar in the afternoon, lovely place to relax and have a drink. We attended the new years eve party. Audoves were really lovely, good variety and plenty brought around by friendly waiters. Bucksfizz on arrival followed by 3 course meal. Beautifully cooked and presented and hot. Duo for entertainment who were very entertaining with lots of 80is music to dance to. I would highly recommend attending events here or just a weekend break away. It does spa days but you have to drive to Grinsby for them, they are not on site, shame really. We should have had breakfast but due to late night got up too late but food smelt good.
