We were a big family (13).
Everything was amazing, the rooms with the private pools, the stuff who did everything they could do to make our stay comfortable.
The food options.
If we had a problem it was immediately solved.
We all had a great time, and shurlly will reserve the place again.

Βρεθήκαμε στο ξενοδοχείο το τριήμερο της 28ης Οκτωβρίου. Παρόλο που το ξενοδοχείο είχε αρκετό κόσμο ακόμα, ήταν πάρα πολύ ήρεμα και ήσυχα. Το δωμάτιο καθαρό και άνετο. Το φαγητό τέλειο, δεν ήξερες τι να πρωτοδιαλέξεις. Το προσωπικό ευγενικό και άψογο. Ήταν ένα τριήμερο χαλάρωσης σε ένα άψογο ξενοδοχείο.

Wir waren in der letzten Woche vor Saisonschluss. Wahrscheinlich nicht der beste Zeitpunkt, da im Ort schon 50% geschlossen haben. Im Hotel waren alle noch superfreundlich und bis zur letzten Minute motiviert. Das Essen für ein Hotel dieser Größe überragend gut. Das Sportangebot ebenfalls bis zum letzten Tag aufrecht. Die Pilates Einheiten sind wirklich empfehlenswert. Alles auch supersauber. Wenn man die letzte Oktoberwoche wählt, sollte man genügend warme Kleidung einpacken. Da der Wind stark blasen kann und bei Wolken die Luft nicht so warm ist empfiehlt sich Langarmpulli. Ein Ausflug nach Heraklion geht unkompliziert mit dem Bus, der vor der Tür wegfährt.

This hotel will do in a pinch for a night or two, but certainly not very comfortable and quite basic. This seems like an older property that they have been trying to upgrade, but it is still lacking. Two elevators of four were boarded up and I imagine this could be a problem in busy times. There seemed to be a lot of bus tour people. Front desk staff were helpful. I believe I had a newly redone room, and beds were very good. But still hard floors with no carpet. Not much in the way of lamps. Windows are still old and allow a lot of noise from the nearby streets on all sides and housing/apartment blocks. Towels thin and not much place to hang them! When we asked for an electric water kettle we were told it was usually only for a higher level of room (and we did not have the lowest level of room), but they did provide. However, they did not bring cups, so had to ask for that as well. I feel it is not too much money for them to provide a water kettle and cups in the room! Location is ok, not too terribly far from the main attractions (Alcazar, Cathedral) and pedestrian area, but despite what the hotel tells you, it is a bit too far to walk (25 minutes at the least) and then walk some more once you get to the tourist area. It is a 10 minute or so walk to a stop for the street car which is convenient, but it only goes a few more stops into "downtown" tourist areas, so limited reach. Not much else practical around the hotel.

Excellent Hotel, lovely location. The staff are very friendly, always smiling and wishing everyone Kalimera and Kalispera . Hotel is exceptionally clean. The entertainment rep Yako is a fun very smiley and happy guy who provides great entertainment without being too pushy. Ammos the a la carte restaurant is amazing and the staff very helpful. All the staff including management are very polite and friendly.,, nothing is too much trouble. We will be at the hotel on the last day of the season and will be dining with the staff tomorrow… also told we can use all the facilities and restaurants until we leave at 18.20, which is great. Alle sehr nett, eine sehr gute Lage! Das Essen war auch super lecker. Es gab eine gute und verständliche Kommunikation. Ich würde hier jederzeit wieder her kommen. Eine Freundin hatte Geburtstag und hat sogar einen Geburtstagskuchen erhalten!

We have recently returned from our second visit to Blue Sea Beach and had a wonderful holiday. We arrived at our hotel in the early hours and found a plate of food and a bottle of wine in our room to welcome us. As before, all the staff were amazing, very helpful and accommodating and this extends to everyone working at Blue Sea Beach . The housekeeping is outstanding,the gardens are beautifully kept and the catering and waitressing staff are efficient, friendly and totally professional. We visited the Ala carte restaurant during our stay and loved the amazing food and personal service of the Ala carte team. We will definitely be returning next year for our third visit!!!
