The hotel is in a good location. There is a small shopping mall opposite and there are shops below. It may be inconvenient if you have a lot of large luggage, because the vehicle cannot drive directly to the hotel gate. You need to get off the car on the hillside and walk in with your luggage. There is no service staff at the intersection to greet those who take the luggage. The front desk staff and restaurant service staff are very enthusiastic. The room decoration is relatively new, but the quality is average. The building next door is currently under construction. When getting a room, it is best to tell the front desk staff that you request a room further away.
Antoniel Suites

This was my first time at Antoniel Suites. I arrived late at night after midnight from the airport. Once I arrived I found the door locked and nobody was at the reception. Initially, I was anxious and worried, not sure of what to do but then luckily I found a big note mentioning the working times of the reception and the numbers to contact in case we needed help. I called the number and I received assistance directly. It was my mistake because I did not inform the reception of my arrival time even though they had sent me a message but due to my busy schedule, I missed the opportunity to check the message and reply on time. In this context, while this is a negative point that a reception must be available 24/7 since standard hotels will have this in place, however, I am thankful to the hotel for the fact they accommodated my need immediately when I arrived despite the odd hour. Also, they were accessible via WhatsApp number/call. However, I do strongly recommend the hotel administration change this and instead have a 24/7 receptionist since it can be intimidating for people at the first instance to not find anyone at the counter and a door locked. In terms of the room's cleanliness, it was reasonably clean and the bed was comfortable. Also, the balcony view was the best part because I could keep it open at night and sleep instead of using air conditioning. In terms of the basic amenities, i.e., there was no toothpaste or tooth brush or water bottle or kettle so do not expect anything luxury. Whether I would stay here again, I am not sure because it did not fulfil all my requirements and from a value for money perspective no it does not deserve that much because there were minimal requirements in place, however I would like to thank you the staff because they were friendly, helpful to the best of their ability and dealt with guests with respect and utmost professionalism.

Nice location if one is looking for a seaside holiday. Quiet, peaceful with lovely views of the sea. If one is looking for a location that is easy to travel around, then staying at Valletta might be more convenient as the bus and main ferry terminal is situated there. However, if one is touring by car / taxi then the consideration where the bus terminal is would be less important. Filling breakfast (though it doesn’t vary very much from day to day) and serves its function of filling one up for the start of the day! Rooms are neat and tidy, some areas show wear and tear but does not affect the overall functionality of the room. Good and clean comfy beds. Excellent service by the hotel staff who made the stay enjoyable. We unfortunately had an accident with the sliding bathroom door but the hotel staff did their best to make the rest of our stay as worry-free as possible.
Hugo's Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

The rooms were nice. The outside pool is not open, but the inside pool and sauna are open, but the buildings are far apart, so you have to go outside and walk, which is very inconvenient (thinking about having to walk a bit after washing up... I also gave up on swimming). Other than the fact that the swimming pool and breakfast area were far away, I was satisfied.

A perfect welcome from all staff, from the beginning to the end of our stay, in this delicious and new hotel 15 minutes walk from Balluta Bay!!! Our room and bathroom were large, clean and comfortable. Daily switching of towels is planned (if you wish) and, on request, steam is available. The breakfast was served on the 7th floor panoramic terrace, next to the hotel a road with free parking and , short distance, a bus stop and a small supermarket for each event.Zorana immediately showed itself alarmed and available for Every clarification, providing us with its cell number and also indicating a reference for the rent of a scooter, essential to be able to visit the island best.A special thanks to the girl who serves breakfast and The elegant lady that, on our day of departure, called us a taxi to the airport simplifying our things. Thanks indeed 💓, hopefully to see us soon!!!!
The Stonehouse

We had a great visit to Cathys The Stonehouse which is perfectly situated around the corner from Spinola Bay. She is a perfect guide and helps you out with anything you require. I would definitely recommend the Stonehouse if toure looking for a genuine experience in Malta. The only con was the in room toilett which only had a glass door and no roof separation from the rest of the suite. The eggs at the breakfast couls also have been made upon order or fresh since they seemed to be old the first two days. So you should probably ask for a fresh egg if this is important for you. Otherwise there was nothing to complain about. Fresh croissants every morning and daily help and recommendations when required was definitely positive.
