Our stay at this hotel was simply perfect. The property is modern, elegant, and impeccably maintained with keen attention to detail. From the moment we checked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always available to assist.
Our room was spacious, bright, and well-appointed with every amenity, boasting spotless cleanliness and an incredibly comfortable bed.
The hotel's true highlight is the wellness area: the spa is wonderful, complete with a sauna, whirlpool, and a dedicated relaxation area. It's the perfect place to truly disconnect and recharge.
However, the absolute showstopper is the outdoor rooftop pool, offering spectacular views. It's a truly unique experience, perfect for unwinding with a refreshing drink.
Breakfast was also superb, with an extensive and varied selection.
I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing escape. I will certainly be returning!
Love this place soooo much!
I spent my birthday vacation without telling the staff but I received a surprise when I back to my room! That’s so warm and amazing, I want to say THANK YOU to all the staff here:)
In addition, the breakfast was fabulous!
Nice location if one is looking for a seaside holiday. Quiet, peaceful with lovely views of the sea. If one is looking for a location that is easy to travel around, then staying at Valletta might be more convenient as the bus and main ferry terminal is situated there. However, if one is touring by car / taxi then the consideration where the bus terminal is would be less important.
Filling breakfast (though it doesn’t vary very much from day to day) and serves its function of filling one up for the start of the day! Rooms are neat and tidy, some areas show wear and tear but does not affect the overall functionality of the room. Good and clean comfy beds.
Excellent service by the hotel staff who made the stay enjoyable. We unfortunately had an accident with the sliding bathroom door but the hotel staff did their best to make the rest of our stay as worry-free as possible.

Obviously the best Hotel in Malta. Must explore the whole Dragonara at your own risk of course as it's the Big Sea, you also can just go snorkeling safely around the Maltese Ghemmuna Artillery battery, which became the Scicluna Family Palace after the Banking Reset of 1873
Greta Staff starting with Upama at the Green exotic stone desk, then was guided to my cozy room by Duty Manager Sandra who explained the hotel history and facilities, for the rest of my stay I was taken care off by the room attendees, so even if you decide to stay in the room it's also a nice place
All the staff were friendly and amazing. Breakfast area is beautiful and you can see the bay. Rooms were clean but simple. One complaint is that you need to pay an extra 20 euro per person to use the swimming pool and gym that gives you access for 24 hours. There is lots around the area and the main bus stops are a short uphill walk.
The room and bathroom are quite big, with a balcony, and are relatively new. There is an outdoor swimming pool on the roof, a gym and an indoor swimming pool in the basement. The breakfast on the 9th floor also has a good view. The only drawback is that our room is on a lower floor and we can't see much view.
Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The staff was very kind and welcoming. Both dinner and breakfast were great, with plenty of choices. The spa experience was very relaxing, and our room was clean and spacious. We also really enjoyed the swimming pools.
The only issue we encountered was that our reservation was initially lost, so we had to wait until it was found. However, the reception team was very helpful and supportive throughout the process, which we appreciated.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this hotel!
So City hotel is in the centre of St Julian’s party hub. It’s surrounded by clubs and restaurants and cafes. My room was on the ninth floor watching on the other side of the noisy neighbourhood so it was calm with windows closed. When I opened windows I could hear everything like I am in the club.
Room was nicely decorated and quite spacious. It could be more clean - I found some blemishes on duvet cover, looked like stains from makeup that couldn’t wash out. Also found some hair in the bathroom.
Considering that water is not drinkable in Malta, they should offer complimentary water bottles for each day of staying- instead they give you just 2 half litre bottles for the whole staying. More than that you must buy. Also they offer just 2 coffee capsules for the whole staying- more than that you must buy.
Breakfast was nice with lots of choices for eggs and omelettes, with additional continental breakfast items like toasts, butter, spreads, cheese and ham, some fresh fruit, and different kinds of pastries. Also they offered numerous juices and types of “milk”. It was fulfilling and cheap. Dining area is really nicely decorated with high ceilings and nice wall decors.
Staff at the reception was great and helpful.
Overall for that price it was 4/5.
The environment and location are good, the hotel is very comfortable, but the pool is very small.. Then there are many lounge chairs, which can be strengthened. Other aspects are very good and comfortable.
Such an amazing stay. Very comfortable beds, spotless clean, stunning sea view from the balcony. There are 2 pools, both heated, indoor pool with some spa features, gym, rooftop pool with sunbeds around including the bar, incredible view. Paceville clubbing area is just a few yards away, although the rooms with sea view are on the side opposite clubbing noise. Breakfast food amazing, just a bit overcrowded at times.
Hotel is a part of shopping mall building and the only thing I could criticise are elevators shared with shoppers (i.e covid measures) sometimes takes forever to get one.
Overall, one of my best stays.

Great
GGuest UserWe had a great experience staying at Me Malta! The room was very new and the facilities were very modern. It is especially worth mentioning that the socket design is very user-friendly. British, Chinese and European plugs can be used directly, which is very rare in European hotels and very convenient. Thanks to Kelton for booking a great restaurant for us. All the hotel staff are very warm and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel!
Ssaintxu108Very beautiful, very convenient to go anywhere, very suitable for living, Malta is so great, the hotel service attitude is also very good, breakfast is not lost to a five-star hotel
GGuest UserVery good location and very friendly staff. The rooms, toilets and showers are clean, but everything is very old and falling apart.
Out of the eight booked nights, the elevator was not working for five days. I'm really tired. Very expensive accommodation for what they offer. It's not worth the money.
BBohemianRMy overall stay at the Mercure has been an extremely pleasant trip, excellent facilities, highly professional and polite front desk staff who are efficient in handling your queries. Excellent location to all the nearby attractions and shopping malls, Mercury Mall and Bay Street. The rooms are spacious, love the lighting and decor with a minimalist and elegant look. Total recommended
SsweetrachelIt's very clean and the lounge is neat and tidy, so it's good.
The room is clean, but the bed is a little creaky, but it's not bad for sleeping!
The water pressure is okay, but it's a good idea to bring a shower filter.
The airport shuttle calls a taxi, so I think it's better to call Bolt!
The pool is really good for a quick visit, but it's a little small, so it's good for just enjoying the atmosphere!
EEwelinaJak najbardziej polecam hotel, czysto, codziennie sprzątane pokoje, a najważniejsze że minutę drogi do przystanków autobusowych. Obsługa hotelu bardzo miła.
GGuest UserFirst time in Malta and not just a great location to explore from but an amazing hotel stay too! From the moment we stepped in the, the staff were always pleasant and always helpful. Sopo, at breakfast ensured we had what we needed and Mina was fast to offer her assistance! Pradeep would make sure we were satisfied with our food and always took care to tell us what was where.
The room was clean and very spacious. We had no issues!
The hotel is in a fab place to explore with a lot of amenities near by. I would definitely recommend Intercontinental and would defo be staying here again.
Bbfung513The location is super convenient - centre of St Julian’s, which is a very touristy area with loads of night life. The amenities list mentioned that toothbrushes and toothpastes would be provided, but they did not have any, and asked me to go to the shop beside to purchase it myself. Otherwise, it was a nice stay for my friend and I :)
JJUHWAIt's next to Gwolhanae Park, so it's a 5-day tour.
It was convenient.
The famous old town is about a 10-minute walk away.
Tourist attractions, Galata Bridge dock, Grand Bazaar, etc.
It was nice to be able to visit almost all the attractions.
To get there from the airport, take the Harvest Airport Bus from the B2 floor and it takes about 1 hour.
Get off at Aksaray Station, move right next to it, take the tram, and get off at the 4th Gwalhane Park stop, which is located just 50m away.
I really like the convenience.
The downside is that the room is a bit small, but everything else, including the price.
I am satisfied.
GGuest UserThe service for the price is very good.
Breakfast includes some bread and tomatoes and cucumbers including croissants, several kinds of cheese and ham, jams and boiled *, yogurt cereal, coffee machine and juice machine there is. apple and orange.
The room is large and has a balcony. With hair dryer and soap. There is also a refrigerator. Towels are also changed every day and they are cleaned. Check-out is easy to just put the key in the box. There is also a rooftop pool, but it was cold so I didn't use it, but it is a small and cute pool.
The unfortunate point is the noise caused by the oldness of the equipment and the construction of the neighborhood.
The flush button in the toilet was broken. It can be flushed, but there is always a sound of water. The shower head was also a little broken and it was difficult to use. The air conditioner was not on and it was a little cold at night, no matter what daytime. The most difficult thing was the noise. Construction is being carried out in front of me from morning till evening, and I feel the rattling and shaking. In addition, people were noisy at night and noisy. (Is it because it is a city) I think it is basically a good inn considering the price.
