Really enjoyable week here in September. Comfy bed and pillows. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Excellent sea view. The highlight was a wonderful massage and reflexology in the spa. Special thanks to Regina who not only gave me the best massage I ever had but also loosened up my shoulder which has been frozen for years. Thank you Regina!

the staff and the hotel were absolutely fantastic. There was this guy in Kontiki Restaurant Jesmond who took perfect care for us while we had dinner.

As a visitor to the hotel we walked in for food in the cafe/ restaurant. This restaurant offers indoor and a large outdoor seating area with a nice atmosphere. The menu is not vast but there appear to be choices to suit all tastes. The burgers and sharing platters are big. We sat outside which was busy and there didn't appear to be sufficient waiting staff to cope with the number of visitors. I ordered parma ham and melon salad which was a bit disappointing as it was just parma ham with melon on a bed of rocket with nothing else. There are selections of deserts and cakes displayed within the restaurant which are reasonable value. I would visit again but would be more selective with my choice of food.
