Cabot Boutique Hotel

The location is great ... in a residential neighbourhood, close to Bannerman Park and a 10 minute walk to Water and George Streets (restaurants and bars) and 10 minutes to Quidi Vidi Lake. This is an Inn with no visible hosts ... keys and instructions are left in an envelope at the front door, a continental breakfast is delivered in a box to your door each morning (boiled egg, muffin or croissant, yogurt, apple, juice). An in-room Nespresso machine (with extra pods available in the communal dining area on the ground floor) was a morning life-saver. Milk was available from the fridge in the dining area, but not in the bedrooms. Our room was large enough for a king sized bed and a small sitting area (2 arm chairs and a table). An in-window air conditioner helped keep the edge off of the summer heat in the evenings, but was loud when trying to sleep. Everything was clean. There were 5-6 car parking spaces squeezed into the backyard, which seemed to be enough for all guests when we stayed (although there are more rooms than parking spaces, so parking is not guaranteed).

Were in town for the music festival. Room was really beautiful and comfortable, had its own Nespresso machine too. Shower was low on water pressure but everything else in the room was great. Breakfast was more of continental- which was okay if the room price was lower. You could get a cheaper deal at a hotel and still get hot breakfast. Parking is tight so better take a walk or another ride around if you don’t wanna lose your spot.
