This is an older hotel in the heart of St. John's. We could easily walk to George Street and numerous restaurants, shops, attractions. We were in one of the attic rooms which was wonderful. Very comfortable bed, a fair to good continental breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good parking. Reasonable price for a nice hotel in the "happening" part of the city. Would definitely stay here again.

Great heritage hotel with large room. Three floors but there is an Elevator. Great location and wonderful helpful staff. Continental breakfast included. Reasonably priced and lots of restaurants nearby to walk to. Waterfront walk is outside

Lovely hotel, wonderful staff, excellent location. Only downsides were room was very dark, hard to see for unpacking and packing and parking spots were hard to come by late in the evening. Also only two bath towels which is inadequate when one of you has long hair. Asked for 3 but only got them for one day out of 3

Fully restored 19th century building, updated to modern hotel standards. Exposed heavy timber columns and beams, artworks adorned walls. Quaint. Located middle of town, lots of eateries and shopping. Staff were friendly. Onsite parking was great benefit. Excellent value

This was our second stay at this hotel. During this stay, we were in a standard king room. I loved the deep bath tub with jets, the water pressure was great and the heated floor in the bathroom is a nice touch. Unfortunately, the bed was not comfortable at all and the pillows were very lumpy. The sheets were rough and not soft at all. I tossed and turned during the night and the roughness of the sheets caused the skin on my knees to become irritated similar to carpet burn. The room was quite spacious but the bed was directly facing the door so if anyone had been walking by anytime the door was open, they would have been able to see right in. The continental breakfast is simple but nice. There are some baked goods, fruit, juices, yogurts, instant oatmeal, coffee/tea.

My wife and I were very impressed with the hotel. We "splurged" on a room with a fireplace and jacuzzi, though the cost was very reasonable. Comfortable bed and a great continental breakfast. Excellent location too. Our vehicle remained parked for much of the weekend as we explored the downtown on foot. Staff were very friendly and professional.

This was a great find. It was a couples trip, and everyone loved this hotel. Close to the water, restaurants, bars and stores. They also have their own patio bar and restaurant. The desk service was excellent, and the rooms were spacious and well appointed. This old warehouse converted wonderfully into a high-quality hotel.
