The remodel is beautiful! The rooms were very cozy and clean and smelled lovely. Both my son and I agree that the beds were super comfortable. The pictures that showed up when I searched the hotel had me a little nervous… I was pleasantly surprised! The continental breakfast was delicious with sausage and eggs and all the fixings for Belgian waffles. With a little bit of honey and cream the coffee was decent.

Room was clean and nice. Despite refurbishing going on, on the first floor it was quiet. Staff was friendly. My only complaint is the pillows. Those were the lumpiest pillows I have ever seen. Besides that, place was great.

We had two separate one-night stays here over a period of a week. The front desk agent we interacted with was very friendly, although during checkout for one of our stays, they didn't process our gift card properly. There was refurbishment going on at the hotel, but that didn't cause any issues during our stay. There was plenty of parking available. The room itself was clean with a comfortable bed. The location was pretty good being near numerous restaurants. The breakfast on offer was also very good.

If you are looking for an updated, clean hotel - this is it. The hotel is still under renovation, but that did not detract from our stay. The front desk guy at night was welcoming and helpful. The beds, linens and towels are fabulous because they are new. The electrical outlets are plentiful and will hold your electrical plugs without falling out - quite different than older hotels. The bathroom features a sliding barn door - which contributed to the modern feel of the room. The only downside, and the reason I gave a 4 star rating instead of a 5 is that the seating area for breakfast is small. There were not enough tables to accommodate hotel guests. The breakfast itself was standard. Nothing to write home about. That being said, I would definitely stay here again!
