The hotel is a distance from the train station and the city center. The room is clean, but there is a musty smell. The most unacceptable thing is that there is only 30 minutes of free wifi, and then you have to pay. In this era, there are still hotels that charge for wifi, which is really hard to understand

5 stars for excellent customer service, the whole team are very friendly and welcoming - Ethan went above and beyond, which was much appreciated. Great location if visiting Eden, Heligan or travelling onwards. Many thanks to all the lovely team.

Functional. Comfortable. Friendly Always a great place to stay. No thrills and no frills but clean and tidy. Great staff. Michelle was great. The key cards had a habit of reprogramming regardless of proximity to your phone. Otherwise all good.

Very rarely there was a receptionist, the hotel was clean, so much so that before 9am on a Sunday the next room was being hoovered. Nobody checked me in for breakfast and the hot food only had a couple of things although the cafe was busy. Clean room.

Had two nights here and would highly recommend. Very clean room and comfy bed. Lots of choice for breakfast and staff very warm and welcoming. Nothing too much for them. Would stay again.
