The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the first tee and the 18th tee of the old Course. Fabulous views of the sea from the dining room. Fantastic breakfast buffet. The hotel was packed during our stay with golfers and parents dropping off kids at the university. I saw the staff hustling nonstop in the restaurants and at the bar I want to thank in particular, Patrick for his excellent bar service And his lattes that kept me going during my trip. The street parking empties out as the day ends and the construction workers go home. You can secure some of the parking spots around back. It’s easier to drop off luggage at the back of the hotel. Parking is luck of the draw as I said at the end of the day, we never had a problem finding a spot I found the room to be clean and the hotel should be noise free

Just went into their beer garden in the back and have been here before with no issues. Wife went in and asked about food & drink. Given a menu and advised the guy would be out with the a la carte menu as well… 15 mins later nothing and although a waiter came out three times and served the other table, didn’t even make eye contact or ask us if we needed anything. Obviously left disgusted and won’t be back

A great location but the service and ambiemce of the hotel did not match . Our "Deluxe" room was very comfortable but looked out onto a flat roof with a large air conditioning vent and was overlooked by the adjacent building . We were just given directions to the room through several doors and up a fligth of stairs which I think just illustrates the lack of service . The two course dinner included in the price had a limited choice without incurring a suplement - the service was excellent . Breakfacst was very much self service - viz make your own coffeee and toast - not quite what youu expect from an expensive four star hotel . We will not be staying agian.

Had a fantastic 2 night stay at the gorgeous Hotel du vin St Andrews. Super comfy bed, lovely restaurant and even had my favourite cocktail on their bar menu. Such a great atmosphere too. Highly recommend this hotel when visiting St Andrews, we will be back again.

2 day stay in St. Andrew’s. The hotel was within walking distance of city center and golf course. Our room was beautiful and very spacious. The staff was wonderful.
