We stayed at AnnanDale's Guest House April 5-13, with three other couples. The keypad on the front door made easy access to the building any time of day. Our rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable! This was a guy's golf trip, so we had rented a 9-passenger van which was great till we had to find a place to park. Parking is free on all surrounding streets but more suitable for compact cars. The location is close to pubs, restaurants, shopping, atm's, golf and additional transportation. Breakfast was included in our stay and was delicious. There was fresh fruit and juices every morning along with options from their menu. The owners Kevin and Fiona were not there the first two days of our stay, but we were greeted in the morning by their friends: Graham and Caroline. They were all so friendly and helpful on giving us advice on where to eat, places to see and history of Scotland. There step by step instructions on bus and train routes made us at ease. I miss our conversations every morning and laughter we shared. We would definitely go back to this home away from home. Thank you, Kevin and Fiona for a Grand week!

Excellent location. Easy walk to golf, restaurants and other sights. On street parking was easy to find nearby. The host was friendly and helpful. Our room was on the top floor. It was clean but very small and spartan for the price. St Andrews is very expensive but for this was a little disappointing.

The staff was warm and friendly. The breakfast was lovely with fantastic french press coffee, eggs, salmon, pancake, great toast, fresh fruit. Convient golf club storage. Great location - centerline located close to pubs, restaurants and shopping.

Very clean. Nicely updated. Nice bathrooms. Outstanding made to order breakfasts. Very nice owners/staff. Centrally located with easy walking to restaurants and shopping. Easy walk to old course and new course at St Andrews. Highly recommend.

Wanted to visit St. Andrews for the weekend last minute. I inquired about vacancy for the weekend and I was shocked when I received a reply within 30 minutes for booking. Upon arrival, the room was exactly as pictured on the website. The highlight of the whole trip was breakfast of the mornings and conversing with Kevin. Breakfast is made to order and delicious! There are only seven rooms in the house so be sure to plan in advance!! We lucked out with this place and I can’t wait to visit again!

Chambre d’hôte cosy, très bien située (tout est faisable à pied). Nuitée au calme. On a apprécié la literie de grande qualité et le très bon petit déjeuner le lendemain. Parkings gratuit dans les rues à proximité. Merci à Kévin pour son hospitalité. On recommande vivement

Our group of 4 ladies ranging from the teens to the 70s had a wonderful stay at the Annandale Guest House in March 2024! Each day started with a lovely breakfast and tip-filled conversations with hosts Fiona and Kevin to make the most out of our stay in St. Andrews. Rooms were excessively clean and stocked with everything we needed, and beds were amazingly comfortable. Definitely felt like “home away from home” and cannot say enough about how warm and accommodating Fiona and Kevin were!

Attended today on third party business.On arrival at door, video door bell did not work.I noticed a female exit an internal room and turn left away from the main door.I chapped on the door's window to attract her attention to be met with a very angry woman who accused me of agresivly knocking the door and scaring the life out of her.As I approach sixty soon I am totally unwilling to accept any abuse.I wished her goodbye and made my way to my van.I was reporting the incident to the job supplier when an equally angry man approached my van stating he has been waiting six hours for my attendance.I explained to him that I was in no way had i been aggressive, but clearly the owners were both tightly wound after waiting six hours for my arrival he even accused me of swearing at him for using the word bloody.I can only say that never have I experienced such a rude offensive couple.For any contemplating staying at this guest house please be aware the owners have a thoroughly unpleasant side to them.
