Taj Dal View is a truly wonderful property offering breathtaking views of Dal Lake. Rooms on the first floor are especially recommended for the best panoramas. Sumair and other staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable, graciously arranging complimentary birthday decorations and ensuring every detail was taken care of. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of tasty options, and overall hospitality was warm and attentive. The only small area of improvement would be the internet connectivity, which was slightly erratic at times. Otherwise, an exceptional and memorable experience.

Taj is a crown of Kashmir as it has breathtaking views from such height and they have the best quality food and hospitality and it’s a must visit place

Excellent location, very comfortable rooms, great food and staff. Truly a five star experience. Ovais khan and Babul took excellent care of us in the restaurant. Reception staff at front desk, Zaid, duty manager and concierge were very helpful in making our stay memorable. Would love to visit this property again.

From the moment we arrived at Taj Dal View Srinagar, we knew this stay would be something special—but it surpassed every expectation. The property is a masterpiece, perched above Dal Lake with sweeping views that are nothing short of magical. Each sunrise felt like poetry, and every evening brought with it the calm embrace of the mountains and water. But the true highlight of my six-day stay was the exceptional team whose warmth and dedication defined the entire experience. I wish to personally commend: • Ramji, Zaid, Javid, Fozia, Babul, Ishfaq Mir, Naveem and Devender (Restaurant Manager)—each of whom went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and happiness. Equally deserving of recognition are the chefs in the morning and evening, whose culinary brilliance transformed dining into an experience in itself. The food was not only delicious and diverse, but on many occasions thoughtfully tailored to individual preferences—an effort that reflected both skill and genuine care for guests. It is rare to encounter such consistency in excellence, and it speaks volumes of the leadership and ethos of the Taj brand. For anyone considering a visit to Srinagar, I cannot recommend Taj Dal View highly enough. It is not merely a hotel—it is an experience of serenity, beauty, and world-class hospitality that will remain etched in your memory. atmosphere was relaxed yet engaging, and with Owais khan involved contributed positively. There was a sense of genuine care and effort, making the entire moment feel effortless. Whether it was a conversation, a shared activity, or just the peaceful setting, it all came together beautifully. It wasn’t over-the-top or extravagant, just quietly enjoyable in a way that lingers. Sometimes, the simplest experiences turn out to be the most meaningful, and this was certainly one of those times.
