Worst experience ever faced. The reception staff was rude and not cooperative. While booking I selected the wrong date booking which is human error but when reached, they did not support and understand my situation.

Room and services were quite average. Only plus point was heater was working. Breakfast had a buffet service but there was no food. We had ordered aloo paratha and tea they were below average.

The manager wasn’t friendly. The room had a small window and poor lighting. The bed was squeaky and the sheets were dark coloured. I requested white sheets to cover which were provided to me. The food was ok but spicy. The housekeeping and restaurant staff was polite and helpful. The location is close to Dal lake.

The stay at Walison Homestay was amazing, the room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect, the staff (including the manager Mushtaq bhai) was very receptive and helping. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. Highly recommended.

I stayed at Walison Hotel for 4 days. It is walking distance from Dal Lake. Room was very nice, with proper heater and comfort. Restaurant offers good kahawa and vegetarian food. Great hospitality by Sajad Bhaijan. He helped me with my hotel booking at Gulmarg. Over all good experience.

The proximity to Dal Lake and tourist attractions within Srinagar is the greatest advantage of staying at this hotel. Moreover the chef at the restaurant Mr.Manzoor is also very helpful in preparing customised food for the guests. The stay and basic amenities are taken good care by the hotel.
