Surreal ! It was a perfect house boat stay. Thank you to the entire team of welcome Heritage House Boat who made this trip memorable. The rooms were nothing less than a 3-4* hotel. Maqbool chacha took care of us like his own children. The food was indeed a wholesome homely meal. It was calm and serene place with our own set of privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thanks to the entire team once again.

Quiet, calm, wholesome food, and overall amazing hospitality. If you're looking for a relaxing stay away from the hustle bustle and the chaos of the city and if you're tired from all the travelling around kashmir this place is 100% Recommended!

This is the 2nd time in 2 years, that we were very lucky to stay in Itc heritage houseboat no 2. Mr Ashraf took excellent care of us,always smiling and ever willing to help us in every way. The food was excellent. An extremely comfortable, luxurious stay. Our shikara boats ***, Ali Mohd was a very friendly and cheerful person. Thank you, Mr Tanvir, Mr Ashraf and Noor for making us feel so special. We look forward to coming back for the third time.

Excellent stay - Great hospitality and service. In houseboat no 2 Tanveer the houseboat manager welcomed us warmly and took good care of all our needs. Ashraf and Riyaz took good care of us in terms of room service and food. Food was homely and hygienic. Very serene location in Nigen lake with lovely view

Had booked 2 deluxe rooms with inclusions like guaranteed early check in and late check out for 2 hrs, complimentary hi tea with veg options, however the management had not accepted any of these inclusions, hence my request to fellow travellers not to book with these inclusions at a higher price than usual. Apart from this, the property is well maintained, they have an adjacent small flower garden, the sunrise and views of the zabarwan range is great. They do not have any provision for lunch even with extra charges, so the included offer of 20% off on f&b is of no use. Lake crossing from ghat to house boat and vice versa is complimentary. However, whether the price of the stay justifies the value is a big question!

The hospitality at this houseboat is exceptional. The staff are very friendly and attentive to ensuring that guests are comfortable and enjoying themselves. The food is delicious and what’s more there is a personal touch as it’s all prepared at the houseboat . Piping hot Phulkas served with Kashmiri aloo dum! The rooms are luxurious and the house boat decor is in typical Kashmiri fashion with intricate carvings and elegant silk carpets that embeds the soul of Kashmir . A stay in a houseboat on Dal Lake is the complete Kashmir experience

The houseboats are beautifully designed and are located in Nageen Lake which is a more peaceful part of Dal lake and away from the chaos and clutter. They have designed the place in Kashmiri style with beautiful local artefacts, carpets, rugs, curtains, cutlery. The common area is beautiful, warm and welcoming and makes one feel at home. The room was comfortable and warm. The breakfast and dinner menu offered is limited but every meal is really special. Overall a few negatives but everything else from the location, design, interiors, food and service were great. Thanks Tanveer and Ashraf.
