Royal Group of Houseboats

Royal group of houseboat are group of houseboat and if you don't have much inside knowledge of things you will be mostly allotted some average houseboat from that fleet. Like in my case i booked from mmt. I got shoda houseboat. Though one thing is good like they are situated at good place of dal Lake having good views of some mountain ranges. That's really nice. Toilets need some repairs. Food got finished with each person taking three chapattis. And they said it was all that. Same next day breakfast poha got finished with one person taking half plate. Since it got chilly in night the owner said there is no extra blanket. Though the lady and helper was nice but the boy was bit rude, pretending to give the things for free. Overall average experience.

We stayed for a night there .We were 12 members.booked 4 star 6 bedroom exclusive house boat . overall experience really amazing.Really like the stay very much . Bedrooms were really very good &cleaned. Hall &dinning area was quite big & nicely maintained.Food was very yummy.They serve breakfast only 1 item .Since we stayed there at end of our vacation so we were happy eating homely cooked delicious food. Looking forward to have more stay in coming year's.

Memorable experience.. everything was awesome whether it was the cleanliness, food ,hospitality or royal ambience. We enjoyed the stay & look forward to visit it again. Will strongly recommend this to everyone

It's a very special place to stay. The nature is very beautiful. The food is delicious, clean, the staff are all very caring. I like everything here. I will go back and I recommend this wonderful place to you.

Clean & well maintained. We were at the Royal King Ori which was a bit away from the ghats thereby providing a silent ambience, away from the hustle & bustle of the crowded houseboats that line the ghat (20 mins by Shikara) . The rooms were well appointed and shared a common living room / dining room with other occupants of the houseboat. Opens up brilliant early morning & late evening views of the snow mountains & the Dal lake. The hosts at the houseboat were very warm and responsive. ( Mr. Abid) and spoke good english. Instructions were also clear !

Our visit in June to the houseboat was great . The caretaker was also a nice and humble ***. The rooms were near and clean and the food was also good.Infact a nice and comfortable place to stay . The shikara ride was also enjoyable.
