Peter was such a great host; nothing was too much trouble. We had the original homestead to ourselves, and it was like stepping back in time with all the modern comforts and more. The gardens and surrounding areas are simple stunning and waking to the sound of magpies trilling and watching kangaroos watch you as you sip a morning coffee on the back verandah is so heartwarming and quintessentially Australian. Peter makes THE best Pizza's we have ever eaten, and they are generous in size and great value. We had one each of the three nights we stayed even though I never thought we could eat that many. They were just so good. Peters' knowledge of the wine industry is of course second to none and we were privileged to indulge in a few of his special vintages.
