The housekeeping staff do a great job. The check-in process was quick and friendly. The bed was great. Breakfast was ok but they were very slow in refilling the food provided!!. Train the staff that busy time means speed it up! They were remodeling and closed the pool, bummer since it was a hot day!! Also, we let them know about a worn out loveseat in our room which surprised us considering how they're trying to remodel and freshen the place up. I hope they replace it, pronto!

In the past several years have stayed at Greenstay on prior occasions, all a positive empierce. Had no reason to feel different, but you never know. Arrived on a Saturday and stayed till the following Thursday. Had requested a first floor room near side door. Checking in was excellent with very friendly clerk, who already had assigned a room as per request. Room and bathroom very clean. Air conditioner and TV worked great and rooms are super quite (never heard other tenants in hall or above on next floor). Was awakened by fire alarm one night which went off twice. Desk clerks apologized for disturbance the next morning and system was fixed before next evening. Hot breakfast served, and location is excellent (right near expressway and Battlefield). Parking is well lighted and plenty of space. There is a fast food place right next door, and a gas station and grocery store within a block. Was NOT disappointed with this stay and will certainly consider another visit when back in Springfield.

Great hotel
My family really liked this hotel. Our room was amazing. The front desk staff were great. I wish I'd found this hotel earlier. Very reasonably priced.

Check in was a breeze and lady was nice. Electrical outlets messed up my phone chargers and ants got in my pop but otherwise great stay

The hotel was clean, beds were VERY comfortable and the front desk staff during check in and throughout our stay were so friendly! The only thing that was disappointing was the breakfast. At 8am on a Sat (when breakfast started at 7) there should be tons of items and stocked. Multiple things were gone (eggs, biscuits, sausage) and we waited but no one came to restock. The waffle maker didn’t work appropriately and there was no nonstick spray so everything stuck and came out burned. That would be my only complaint was the breakfast. I’d stay here again with my family though and we all slept well and our room was very nice.

Construction debris around front entry that looked like it had been there for quite a while. Interior hall ceiling tiles removed leaving wires exposed.Hot tub (?) had a cover held up by random blocks and had sunken in leaving standing water or (?).
carpets needed vacuuming.on arrival, first impression was Staff or (?) others standing around front door smoking . Shower in room needs re-grouting and wall crack repair/replacement. Bath room was clean and towels were fresh.

This is not an “8.8” hotel. This is an old hotel. Room smelled bad, it was old and not very clean. The price was pretty good. I would call this property a 5 or 6 out of 10.

Liked the decor and cleanliness an room size. We had no bar stools to sit and eat at bar, L.R. tv didn't work, to noisy at pool side room and curtains didn't close completely. And hot tub wasn't working! Not much choice at breakfast.
