We stayed at Holiday Inn Express for two nights in June. We do not recommend this hotel. The first night, I was bitten by bed bugs. We spoke to the desk, asking for housekeeping to replace all the bedding. We left the hotel for about three hours. When we returned to our room, no one had cleaned the room. I phoned the front desk to ask if they were going to take care of the problem. She told me that the maids had left for the day. My husband requested another room. We moved to another room that had no bed bugs, but it smelled horrible. When we checked out, my husband asked them to adjust our bill due to these issues. The clerk said the manager would call us that afternoon to discuss. No one ever called. We do not recommend this hotel.

The hotel was great. The room was great. The front desk staff not so much. They tried the old bait and switch tactic, saying my room , a queen suite which I had already paid for, was no longer available (it was only 3:15pm). After I insisted they double check they were able to “find a room”.

The hotel was clean and overall convenient for our stay. The breakfast was nice an always stocked with food. We would definitely stay there again.

Don’t expect to sleep
We went to participate in an event and were in hopes of sleeping at night. The hotel had a group of young ball players that preceded to run up and down the hallways, using the elevator and screaming until almost 1230am. When I attempted to call the front desk there was no answer after multiple attempts. I then went to the hallway myself instructing the children to go to their rooms. Not a parent insight. Ridiculous. About ten minutes later the front desk called and stated they had heard it also - question was why didn’t you handle it instead of a guest.
