Very close to Speyer Old Town Gate, breakfast is good and cheap. The neighborhood is quiet, but there is a beer garden next to it, which is quite noisy on weekend nights. Also, the room type is a bit weird

The hotel is decent enough. However, the service was just not up to standard. The reception remained unmanned well past 8 a.m. I requested breakfast at 8 am - however, there was no sign of anyone appearing at 8.20 am. As a result, I had to leave to catch a train without breakfast and without formerly checking out. You have to do better than this. In the in-room service guide it states that the reception should be manned from 6 am and breakfast is served from 7 am. No explanation, no apologies - a pretty disgraceful attitude.

Wir suchten eine Unterkunft für eine Nacht in der Nähe des Zentrums von Speyer. Das Hotel "Alt Speyer" ist wenige Gehminuten vom Altpörtel und dem Dom zu Speyer entfernt. Der Check-In ist schnelle erledigt und der junge Mann an der Rezeption charmant. Die Zimmer sind recht kompakt, aber hell. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer bietet alles Notwendige. Die Sauberkeit ist sehr gut. Schlafen ist gut möglich. Die Betten sind in Ordnung und dank der Lage in einer kleinen Seitengasse ist es auch recht ruhig. Bei einer Veranstaltung im nebenliegenden Gewölbe könnte es vielleicht etwas lauter werden. Das Badezimmer ist modern und sauber. Auch hier ist alles notwendige vorhanden. Das Frühstück ist nicht in Bufettform. Hier kommt wieder der charmante junge Mann von der Rezeption ins Spiel. Das Frühstück wird an den Platz serviert. Kaffee, Orangensaft, Wurst/Käse, unterschiedliche Konfitüren und Joghurt gibt es für jeden. Eier auf Wunsch. Reicht, schmeckt, passt. Ein kleiner Hinweis: Die Parkplanung mag gut überdacht sein. In der Nähe gibt es Parkhäuser, diese sind allerdings aufgrund recht niedriger Höhe für SUVs oder Busse nicht nutzbar. Die Preis/Leistung ist recht gut. 90 Euro mit Frühstück ist ein sehr guter Kurs. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn es uns mal wieder nach Speyer verschlägt.

This hotel is located in the centre. It’s a cosy, family-run hotel, which was renovated some years ago. It has 12 rooms, with comfty beds. We spent only one night there, it was good. The staff was friendly, the only negative thing is the too strict check-in time: after 2 p.m.

Familiengeführtes Hotel in Gehweite aller Sehenswürdigkeiten in Speyer. Lediglich das W-LAN in meinem Zimmer war etwas schwach, bzw. nicht vorhanden. Dafür wachte Buddha über meinen Schlaf. Der Frühstücksservice lief manchmal etwas schleppend an, aber selbiges war dann ganz okay.

Nettes kleines Hotel in einer sehr ruhigen Nebenstraße der Altstadt. Wir hatten ein ruhiges Zimmer in der 2. Etage, man konnte auch die Fenster ganz öffnen. Das Bad war neu renoviert und war gut. Wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht und es wurde frisch gemacht nach unseren Wünschen.

Ein kleines Hotel, direkt in Speyer. Der E-Mail-Kontakt zwecks der Reservierung und zur Klärung von Anreise-Fragen war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Wir waren um 10 Uhr da und konnten schon unsere Sachen ins Zimmer bringen, obwohl es erst ab 14 Uhr bezugsfertig war. Für uns perfekt, da wir so einen vollen Tag ohne Unterbrechung beim eigentlichen Ziel verbringen konnten. Das Zimmer war sauber und zweckmäßig, nur die Dusche war sehr klein und durch den nach vorne ausgerichteten Abfluss sehr rutschig. Der Herr am Empfang ist etwas wortkarg, aber absolut nicht unfreundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Ich liebe die Lage des Hotels, da man nicht mitten im Trubel, aber sehr nahe dran ist.

Das Hotel liegt zentral inmitten der Stadt. Das Zimmer war nicht übermäßig groß, aber sauber und ruhig gelegen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Hervorheben möchte ich das sehr nette und zuvorkommende Personal.
