Beautiful hotel, excellent staff. great food and exceptionally clean room, bed linen and bathroom. The complimentary array of teas. Coffees and biscuits were really welcoming as was the cans of soft drinks. The only advice is as rooms are large, 2 small easy chairs would have helped as sitting on bed was not ideal. Also somewhere to put clothes a small chest of drawers would be useful, as well as more coat hangers in wardrobe 5 is very limited. Highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely come back again. Thank you to all staff

Lovely little hotel situated in the countryside outside Plymouth. Blissfully quiet. Very well priced. Delicious food including cooked to order breakfast (always a bonus) with the best ingredients. I’ve stayed in lots of hotels around Plymouth but this is the one I’ll be coming back to. Staff really friendly too!

Visited for Sunday lunch to celebrate my Mothers 93rd birthday. We were a party of about 14 adults and children. This is our favourite go to restaurant for Sunday lunch and it never disappoints. Superb food and very attentive staff. We will be back.

Whilst visiting Plymouth for a family birthday, we decided to treat ourselves to a more upmarket hotel than our usual choice. I'm pleased to say that Welbeck Manor was everything it promised to be. On arrival, we were greeted by Louise on reception who not only checked us in but showed us to our room and even offered to assist with our luggage - that's definitely a service you don't get in many places these days. We had a lovely, comfortable (and very spacious) room overlooking the golf course and thoroughly enjoyed the excellent breakfast in the morning. I would definitely recommend it for a treat, and the room rates are not over the top for what you get.

Delight to have found this magnificent Manor House for my overnight stays when I’m doing business in the south. It is stunning. Full of luxury, character and history. The whole place is on a grand scale. From the bed to the shower head (and everything in between) it oozes quality. It’s as nice a room as I’ve EVER stayed in. Breakfast was sensational and staff catered for my particular requirements without hesitation. To top it all Welbeck has its own 9 hole Golf Course which, as a keen golfer who needs a LOT of practice, played right into my hands. This is a glorious place to eat, drink and rest and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I clearly benefitted from a mid-week deal as the quality of the place is clearly worth considerably more.

We attended the Masquerade Dinner and Dance on Friday evening. We had a fantastic time, the staff were amazing. The food was all home cooked and delicious. The rooms were very good value for money with all amenities considered. I would definitely recommend this establishment for an event
