Woodlands Hotel

Recommend for larger parties. I had my 18th birthday party hosted at the woodlands hotel and the service was really good, had around 70 guests and all were well catered for. Staff made my day so special and really added a personal touch. I didn’t worry about anything all night and that really helps when hosting. I also stayed overnight and the room was very spacious and perfect to get ready in!!

Gan, the manager, does everything he can for you. He helped us in with our luggage, let us sit in the bar with our family and order a takeaway. He got us plates etc, then cleared up our rubbish. The next night he went and got us fish and chips. He made me a pot of tea, because I wasn't drinking. Was made to feel very welcome. Only issue, is the heating. When it comes on it makes a terrible racket.

Very nice hotel. Simple decor but the room was very clean with all ameneties. Close to town centre. Very friendly,helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Would reccommend for a reasonable stay in Spalding...................................

We held my sisters funeral wake here on 07/01/2025 and cannot rate the hotel and staff highly enough! The manager met us on entering the hotel and escorted us to the designated room where tables had been set with cups and saucers, glasses and a water jug. We had unlimited tea and coffee and the bar was open too for anyone who needed more than tea or coffee or water. We were asked when we wanted the food bringing out and when they did bring it, there was such a choice! 4 different types of sandwiches, pork pie, sausage rolls, samosas, spring rolls, chicken goujons, chicken strips, 2 different pizzas and the 4 different types of cakes! We really couldn’t believe our eyes! The staff were present but not intrusive. We were asked if we wanted to take any food home with us and the hotel supplied containers for us to do so and then the rest of the food was taken to the homeless people of Spalding. We really can’t heap enough praise on the hotel and staff for everything they have done for us today and are very grateful for the top rated service they supplied.

Would go again. 🙂 Nice place with excellent friendly staff. Were only there for one night but the bed was lovely and comfortable.

very tired hotel, needs a complete refit We had not been informed after we booked that a wedding was being held there that weekend. As a non-wedding guest you would have thought the hotel would have put us in the farthest room away not directly over the disco. There was laughing, screaming and slamming doors till the early hours. The stair carpets are threadbear the room carpet is filthy. The wifi didnt work. Then to after a dreadful nights sleep in a lumpy bed, there was no hotwater and no one on reception to explain why. The only redeaming feature was the staff were helpful and polite and the breakfast was excellent.
