Overlooking the white sands and crystalline waters of Sesoko Beach, Hilton Okinawa Sesoko Resort is ideally located for a tranquil and relaxing getaway in Okinawa. Unwind on your private balcony and enjoy views of the beautiful sea or garden from your guest room or suite. Each comes equipped with a comfortable bed and WiFi so you can rest well and stay connected. Upgrade to an Executive Room for added benefits or a Deluxe Suite for more space and separate living area. Young ones can enjoy a kids’ pool, children’s menus at our restaurants, plus other child-friendly amenities. Our hotel offers an excellent escape along Okinawa’s Western coast, complete with amenities such as a fully equipped fitness center, adult and children’s pool and full-service spa. Our concierge can help arrange water sports, eco-tours and activities for all seasons. Savor global cuisine from our signature restaurants, including our modern Italian Restaurant SeMare and delectable seafood at Steak & Seafood Sisuco Grill. Enjoy all-day dining at AMAHAJI, or eat in the comfort of your room with room service. There is also a full bar and poolside refreshments available. Host your next meeting, conference or event at our seaside resort. Our compact yet sophisticated Orchid function room can accommodate up to 168 guests and can be divided into three separate venues. Floor-to-ceiling window on the South side can take in natural light, and guests can enjoy panoramic views of Ie Island and Minna Island from the foyer. With a friendly service, our staff will respond meticulously to your needs to create a memorable event for the participants.

"The hotel is located near beautiful and clean Sesoko beach with marvellous sea abundant with great variety of fish. A perfect location for swimming and snorkeling. Sesoko beach and fantastic view thereof from our balcony has been a huge, but unfortunately the only advantage of the hotel. If you don’t rent a car, you have to be ready for the situation when you are unable to leave the hotel at all. It’s very hard to call a taxi either via Uber or even via local taxi app “Go”. The hotel staff does not provide too much help with this issue either, even when requested to book a taxi to the airport (to be fair hotel concierge finally managed to arrange a car for us, but it arrives 30 minutes late, despite our request being extended at least 12 hours before the planned departure). The hotel management is apparently aware of the transport inconvenience for their guests, but do not seem to care about that at all: they’ve chosen the easiest way “to cope” with the problem: just smile and say “sorry”. There’s another advantage of such approach for the hotel: if guests cannot leave the hotel easily, they wouldn’t have much lunch/dining choice other than having meals in the hotel. And here we come to another issue with the hotel: a very mediocre choice of dining options (no Japanese cuisine options at all) and extremely poor menu (with even poorer service) in the only available lunch venue. Breakfasts are below expectations as well: absolutely same food every morning (the only change from day to day: fried salmon/fried mackerel), no fresh fish/sea-food (we’re still in Japan, aren’t we?), almost no choice of fruits. Verdict: a very overrated hotel, pretty mediocre itself, but located beside the gorgeous sea."

BBabachan23Oceanic Grandeur at The Orion Motobu: A Masterclass in Northern Okinawa Hospitality Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) The Verdict ”The Hotel Orion Motobu Resort & Spa remains a benchmark for luxury in Northern Okinawa. With its expansive footprint and strategic location adjacent to the Emerald Beach and Churaumi Aquarium, it offers a resort experience that feels both grand in scale and intimate in comfort. As a traveler who appreciates the higher standards of Japanese hospitality, I found this property to be a highlight of the Motobu Peninsula.” Location & Aesthetic The positioning is peerless. To have Emerald Beach as your front yard and the aquarium as your neighbor is a luxury few hotels can claim. The architecture maximizes the stunning views of Ie Island, and the transition from the sophisticated lobby to the pristine coastal surroundings is seamless. The resort successfully captures the 'Okinawa Blue' spirit in every corner. Service & Amenities The service here felt notably more 'high-touch' and personalized. The staff navigate the complexities of a large-scale resort with grace and genuine warmth—a step above the standard 'transactional' service seen in city hotels. You can feel the passion and warmth the moment you arrive at the resort. Accommodation Note The rooms are impressively spacious by Japanese standards and the location is right in between Churaumi Aquarium and Bise Fukugi Tree Road by foot!!! Guest Tip: Ensure you are present at your balcony to embrace the magnificent sunset. Watching the sun dip below the horizon around 5:00 PM is a transformative experience that defines the beauty of this resort.

XXiaoyadaochukankanI come to Okinawa almost every winter for vacation and have stayed at many ocean-view hotels here. Halekulani Okinawa stands out for both its significant strengths and weaknesses. **Pros:** (1) As a newly built hotel, the facilities are much newer than other hotels. The rooms even have smart tablets to conveniently book restaurants and check out various amenities. (2) Although the restaurant prices are noticeably higher than other hotels, the quality of both the buffet and à la carte restaurants, and even room service, is excellent and worth the price. (3) The service is very good. If you're taking public transportation when checking out, they'll even provide a car to take you to the station. (4) If you skip breakfast, you can change it to lunch, which is convenient for those who like to sleep in. **Cons:** This seems to be a common issue with Western hotel brands. Halekulani Okinawa, along with two other Hilton hotels here, shares the following problems. I believe this might stem from differences in Western brands' operational philosophies. However, for a hotel like Halekulani, which costs more than double other ocean-view hotels, these shortcomings are quite unacceptable. (1) The hotel lacks a well-stocked convenience store and souvenir shop. Other Japanese-owned ocean-view resort hotels usually have one or two such stores with a wide variety of items. Here, there's only one shop selling some Halekulani branded merchandise and a very limited selection of ”eco-friendly, natural” snacks, with hardly any beverages. If you want something to eat, you have to walk a few hundred meters outside the hotel to a chain convenience store. (2) The mini-bar drinks in the room are chargeable, and the prices are 4-5 times higher than at outside convenience stores. Considering this hotel is 2-3 times more expensive than others, and many other hotels often offer free mini-bars, this difference is quite significant. The main issue is the lack of an internal convenience store, forcing guests to frequently go out to a convenience store a few hundred meters away for a wider selection of drinks and snacks. Not to mention, it's truly unpleasant to go out when it's rainy or windy. For someone like me who enjoys staying at a comfortable and convenient hotel for several days or even a week, it's hard to stay long if a resort can't meet all my needs in one place. (3) The price for the self-service laundry and dryer (700/800 JPY) is also about three times higher than at other local ocean-view hotels (200/300 JPY). While the hotel's price is more than double that of others, the convenience and comfort aren't significantly higher (aside from newer facilities). Coupled with a mini-bar and self-service laundry that are several times more expensive, and the need to go outside to buy necessities due to the lack of an on-site convenience store, it feels like they're trying too hard to squeeze every penny. It's more suitable for a short, 'check-the-box' experience rather than a prolonged, relaxing stay. The quality of the seawater is also just average compared to hotels in Onna Village and Cape Zanpa.

MMeihaodezuichuThe hotel environment, facilities, and services are all very good, especially the food and beverages are good in appearance and content. The surroundings are very quiet. The beach is good for taking photos, but not for swimming. It is worth staying for four nights... The only thing I don't understand is that it is very difficult to reply to the hotel's emails. Compared with the other two hotels, the emails are replied in seconds. The English communication is not smooth. The email method should be better, so I don't understand...

WWENLIMHad the pleasure of staying at this property for four nights and was impressed by the overall quality of the experience. The hotel’s central location in Onna Okinawa is an advantage, providing easy access to shopping, dining, and cultural attractions. It serves as an excellent base for leisure travelers if you self drive. The room was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully equipped with a kitchen and washing machine, making it particularly convenient for longer stays. The layout was comfortable and functional, offering both relaxation and practicality. Breakfast was a highlight of the stay. The buffet spread was wide. The system of collecting a queue number before lining up was efficient and ensured a smooth dining experience. Evenings were made memorable by the hotel’s stunning sunset views. Watching the sky transition into vibrant hues from the property was a truly special experience that added to the charm of the stay. Overall, the hotel delivered on all fronts: location, comfort, amenities, and atmosphere. I would not hesitate to return and will certainly choose this property again on my next visit to Okinawa.

GGuest UserWe really love this hotel. Friendly and attentive service when we reached the hotel. Love the location with a very serene nice private beach. If not for the rain we would definitely love to explore more of their activities such as the mini golf and sauna. There are also restaurants located in the resort whereby there is a good choice of western, Japanese and etc. we had a good buffet dinner at the surf cafe which comprised of a good variety. The hotel breakfast is really splendid as we get to try out their local specialty Such as the pork egg onigiri and one salty peanut pudding as well as a good spread of bread , fruits and dessert .No complaints and we would definitely be back for this hotel facilities.

AAnonymous UserThis was my second stay at this hotel, and it's definitely one I'd recommend. However, it does have quite a few drawbacks. First off, the service is just okay. Some staff members are quite lazy and have a bad attitude – you have to ask them three times before they do anything. Also, when I was checking in, I had my hands full with bags and a suitcase, and they just stood there watching. They didn't offer any help at all, and then asked me to sign something. My phone was in a bag, so if they had just helped me with my luggage, I could have freed up a hand to sign. Secondly, the soundproofing is terrible. I could hear every word from the room next door as if they were speaking right beside me! Also, many people have mentioned that the rooms are too bright, and it's true. The lights from outside shine directly in at night, mainly because the curtains are too thin. On the positive side, the beach is beautiful, with some of the best sand in Onna Village. The hotel's outdoor public areas are also aesthetically pleasing, with beautiful plant and flower arrangements. Breakfast offers an average variety, but the taste is decent. There's a fishing port nearby, and as soon as you step out, you'll find tons of restaurants with plenty of delicious food. It's a top choice in Onna Village. If you're bothered by older properties, you might want to reconsider, as this hotel is over 50 years old. However, it's very well-maintained! Plus, the rooms don't have wall-to-wall carpeting, so there's less dust. Overall, it's my first choice for a stay in Onna Village. If you prioritize the room and interior design, you could choose the Hotel Monterey next door – its interiors are much better, but its beach is very average. Choose Hotel Monterey if you prioritize the room; choose here if you prioritize the beach.

GGuest UserPros: 1. The hotel is close to the Cape Manza scenic spot, with many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. 2. The hotel offers a wide range of water activities, including but not limited to banana boats, jet skis, an inflatable water park, glass-bottom boats, and sunset cruises. If you're not planning on visiting the outer islands, you could easily spend a whole afternoon here. Cons: 1. The hotel is a bit old. The lobby has no air conditioning 🥵, and the room decor and furnishings feel dated. The shower pressure in the bathroom 🚿 isn't great either. 2. The outdoor pool closes at 6 PM, and the beach only stays open until 5 PM. I won't even mention other times, but Okinawa right now is scorching hot and sunny. The only time you can really enjoy the pool or ocean without getting baked is closer to sunset (unless you don't mind the sun, then never mind what I said). But then you only get to play for a short while before you have to leave!! 😅

HHsinTangThe hotel's swimming pool has indoor and outdoor sections, as well as a waterslide for babies. The indoor pool has a bed against the wall, making it safe and comfortable for young children to sleep. Importantly, there are also educational and fun activities nearby. I highly recommend bringing children to participate in these activities. Parking is available, but sometimes a shuttle service is required to get the car. I really loved the lobby's décor. Also, being able to continue playing in the pool after check-out is fantastic.
