Spa Hotels in South Semarang

We stayed during Ied Mubarak holiday for 4 days/3 nights in April 2025. We booked 2 connecting rooms for my family (4 persons). I chose this hotel because it has swimming pool and gym, we used to exercise daily. In fact, the gym was closed for long term maintenance. It should be declared and crossed out from the hotel facility so we noticed from beginning, not surprised on site. The rooms at a glance were ok but when we looked to the interior were lousy. The curtain, gordyn, and bed lamps, dirty and stained. My children room has no curtain, so direct sunshine and very hot during the day. The towel seemed already used for years. not soft, looks lousy and the color not pure white as normally hotel towel. Each room provided safety box but no function at all. if you see the direction on the safety box (see the photo), it supposed has red button inside the box but no button at all. The safety box used 4 battery. In my room has only 2 batteries out of 4 and already expired since March 2018. My children' room has 4 battery but also not functioned. the button numbers and keys cant be pressed so we cant keep important and valuable items inside it. The swimming pool were crowded and the water was dirty. the hotel supposed to overall cleaning to the pool due to holiday seasons but the water obviously dirty. The parking lot is low maintenance, dirty, and rubbish everwhere. the Horison Ultima was only 3 years old last December 2024 as I saw from the stickwerck at lobby. The hotel was Star Hotel and changed to Horison Ultima. The parking lot was narrow and limited. For location is ok, near Java Mall. good for morning walk. the hotel staffs were polite and fast response. the amenities for 4* hotel is good enough. the mini fridge in the room is ok as well as the Aircon. If I may advise the management, please take serious attention to the cleanliness and maintenance also room refurbishment to the lousy interior inside as top priority.

Staying at Up Peak Hotel Semarang, overall it's really good! The room is clean, the design is modern, and the staff are friendly. The location is also strategic, easy to go anywhere. But there are two things to note. First, the parking is very limited, so you have to use valet. Second, the windows are not soundproof—if a motorbike passes by with a noisy exhaust, the sound enters the room. So just a suggestion, bring your own headset or earplugs to sleep better, because the hotel doesn't provide them. But other than that, everything is okay. For a short stay or work in Semarang, it's still recommended!

The location is quite good, quite close to Simpang Lima or Pleburan. Friendly service. The studio type room is a bit narrow but still okay for transit or just resting, the facilities/amenities are standard and a dispenser is provided in the hallway. The bathroom is quite spacious and clean, the hot water is fast, no need to wait long. There is a kids corner in the lobby. Close to Roemani Hospital, Indomaret or Alfamat.

Plus: 1. Access to the hotel is quite good (near the main road / main road) 2. The rooms are quite good and clean 3. Looking for souvenirs is also easy because it is a busy center Minuses: 1. Parking is very limited and you have to leave the key (I personally don't like the vale system or the like)

Good. The location is quite strategic, the swimming pool is not clean. if there is a seminar event, parking is difficult. small size bath soap. The bathroom exhaust was noisy and too big, so after showering I was cold. the price is a bit expensive, my suggestion includes food and tax Rp. 250,000.

Good place , interior was awesome , but lil bit noisy if somebody talk louder outside the room
