Morningstar Buoy Haus Beach Resort at Frenchman's Reef, Autograph Collection

This booking is a total rip-off from the beginning to end. 1.Make sure you have free cancelation because you will surely use it. 2. Just know that there are extensive hidden fees including paying for paddle boarding, scuba diving, etc whether you use them or not all guest are required to pay at the end amongst other things. 3.Customer Service was horrific from beginning to end starting with long check in wait times without any acknowledgement also don't expect them to initially fill you in on the astronomical fees that they tack on in the end.Also, upon finding out they placed me on a ground level floor facing all the foot traffic opposite of any ocean or scenic views, I was promised a room change the following day which never happened for the duration of my stay. 4. Room service surprisingly came to my room at 8pm inquiring about service which was bizarre. 5.Food is insanely expensive including room servic delivery. I paid almost $50 for a small sized pizza at the low end restaurant.Free Breakfast which was listed upon booking as well as on my receipt was anything but free so be where.They told me upon checkout it is only $80 but there is nowhere stating that information. One hostess at Salt shack told me it would would be a 20minute wait for breakfast or I can try a buffet upstairs but after walking in the hotsun upstairs there was no buffet or restaurant and so the 20 minute wait continued. 6.Overall hiddeen fees were were astronomical.This is a 2star rating at best.i hate that I chose this place for my stay it was a total rip off!

So I stayed 4 nights from July 29th to July 24th. Firstly the property is beautiful. The beach is amazing. The ocean is so nice! The pool area is top. The room is super near the beach, the room is also super modern and comfortable. You also can use all the Westin installations which is great! Ok the bad. The hotel staff is not properly trained. Restaurant staff acts as if the where doing you a favor. Food is not so good. But the terrible part is house keeping. One day we went out for the whole day. I travelled with 2 small kids (just turned 2 and 5) so we have breakfast on the room. We used the plates and cups that isnin the room (coffee cups and plates) I left the room at 9am. When we came back at 4pm I ran in to go to the restroom and saw all the plates and cups we had used places in a tower inside the toilet. Also the room was not properly made. I was appalled. Never have i seen something like this. I went to look for the manager and told them there was no explanation, I was disgusted to please clean this up. Also to do my room correctly. Later on I went to the manager because I did not understand why there had been no apology. He said his staff had not done that. And that we left the room, housekeeping staff went in and then us. So he blamed me!! Or my kids! I was Furious!!! I knew 1000% it was not us. Because I was with my kids the whole time and also the can carry an place plates and cups that way. I have emailed customer services like 4 times: No answer. And I am Gold Elite. Not a super category but the hotel does not care about its customers Be careful with this hotel.

This was a great day! We had a cabana on the beach with the best waiter, Billy. He took great care of us and Michelle our bartender made the best drinks. The activities staff helped us get snorkel gear and we had a great time on this beautiful beach. The food and drinks were amazing. Will definitely come again!

Knema(concierge) was so awesome. She made our stay so worth it. We had a great experience. She went above and beyond to accommodate us. We’ll be back to the buoyhouse. My daughter and i traveled for her 12th birthday & we also had baloons/desert waiting for us.

Amazing restaurants and even more fabulous service!! Michelle is the seasoned heartbeat of the dining experience. I highly recommend whether you are staying at a the Westin or Cove GO SEE MICHELLE at the Sandbar at the Buoy House nothing Short of Fabulous!!

Wendy and Belto with the pool service are the best. If you need anything they are always available to help with what ever needs. The hotel is top notch and well kept. The restaurants on site are very good but a little On the high side on cost. Staff very friendly and nice

Wendy is amazing at the Buoy Haus! Karisma is lovely and welcoming. Nash is an amazing bartender! Buoy Haus is a relaxing time you will enjoy every second. The rooms are perfect and clean! Kiki is a great server at breakfast. Don’t forget to have breakfast overlooking the ocean.

The views of the ocean by the pool are awesome. Staff is great, they set up your chairs, bring complementary water and shots, and are consistently checking in with us. Special shout out to Wendy and Belto for making our experience even better!

An outstanding resort for a family vacation. The staff was as warm, welcoming, eager to assist and accommodating as any staff I've observed at any hotel. The rooms were quite comfortable, clean and in good working order, the location is stellar, the food in all the restaurants was outstanding and reasonably priced for the quality, and the pools, ocean and activities were terrific. The option to also enjoy the facilities at the Westin is a big bonus,
