The room should be a single not a double. Storage for clothes is 4 hangers on 4 wall hooks and 4 basket s.The basin would not hold water as the plug seal is missing. Cobwebs around the window. Also the taps in the bathroom are difficult to turn off. Self check in makes it feel impersonal. Would I stay here again. No.

Excellent location with free onsite parking available. The Bed was massive and very comfy. There is a Kitchen and Dining room downstairs that are very well equipped and everyone has part of the Fridge allocated to there room. Lots of literature is provided as well about Local Attractions, Restaurants, Takeaways etc. Would highly recommend and will be back in the near Future.

I've been to Southport many times and the Stamford was terrific. The self check in worked well and there is a lovely lounge and superb kitchen, should you need them. The room was perfectly fine and the recent renovation really shines through. They do advertise that you can book the whole house for a large party and I think this would be great for guests at a wedding or a golfing trip. It was great to see the Leo's bar building is being renovated- that will give the Bath Street area a real boost. I will always recommend Southport and I give a big thumbs up to the Stamford.

We found that the 'King Room' was too small for our 3 nights stays . we had no room to place our 3 Carry-ons or hang up our clothes (there were only 6 lousy hangers provided). Also we had found that the glasses were not cleaned.., toilet was smelly that we had to kept the window opened all-time. Totally not what we expected. I would not recommend this guess house for anyone else.

Our stay was so lovely! I went with my mum for my birthday weekend. Honestly we absolutely loved everything. The biggest thing for us is hygiene and we found that in this hotel. I loved the little birthday touch, the self check in was so convenient. The kitchen and lounge area was so nice. I really appreciate the smaller details and absolutely found this a major thing in this hotel for example books for people to read, card games, Netflix and YouTube on the tv, teas etc. we didn’t find any disturbance with other people there at all. The only thing I can say is that there was a bleach stain on our towel, our bathroom window wouldn’t open, we would appreciate a spare sponge per room to use for dish washing. And just refills on kitchen roll and things like that. Overall we absolutely had an amazing time and would definitely come again. The communication was very fast and very helpful.

Ideal for family or friends. 3 good sized bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a communal kitchen. Beds were very comfortable with quality bedding. It is ideally placed for all of Southports attractions within walking distance. 10 minutes for the train station. Will definitely be visiting again

Great little find. Excellent accommodation with lots of added extras, use of kitchen which includes a washing machine, nice and quiet although very convenient for shops, eateries and the promenade. Parking available which is also an added bonus, we will definitely be back
