Arthur's Bar & Accommodation

Stayed in the budget room, which is small but fine for one night. Few stains here and there but not dirty. Nice breakfast which was not included in the price.

We stayed here for my daughters wedding at Meols Hall so it was very handy. We enjoyed our stay and received a 10% discount off food and drinks which was a nice bonus. I didn't realise that you had to go out of the bar and around the side to get to the entrance of the accommodation so it wasn't the nicest of walks for my daughter on the morning of her wedding to get to the wedding car. Apart from that it was all good.

Clean & Helpful! Stayed in room 4, quite tight but very clean and very functional. Food was not served on the day we stayed but close amenities were fine.

Really well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean room. Location is superb, staff are lovely and the bar below is great. Quiet, which is impressive given the location above a bar near to a main road. I found the shower pressure a bit low but recognise this might be an environmental choice. Otherwise it was ideal. I'm looking forward to staying again.

Not recommended Clean but room so small. No space for bags. No long mirror, no hairdryer, no wardrobe sink too small to get kettle filled. Over priced .

An overnight stay visiting family nearby. Easy check in with friendly staff the room was spotlessly clean and a good size. We had to fix the bedside lamps as they weren't plugged in behind the headboard and the bulbs were loose in the fittings (very dodgy switch plug) but apart from that the room facilities were excellent. We were told the bar would be open until 10.30 but when we returned at 9pm the staff told us that they had already called last orders as it was a quiet Sunday night. They kindly served us a drink as we were residents and we were the last to leave as the staff were finishing off cleaning and tidying up. Which made it very strange that loud bass music could be heard in our room until 12.30! Perhaps it was one of the neighbouring rooms having a party? Despite that, would happily stay again.
