Amazing place to stay. Beautiful rooms, lovely breakfasts and great hosts to whom nothing was too much trouble. Already decided to come back next year!

Situated away from the unwelcome riff-raff ( that will make more sense if you arrive there! Easy to find, excellent communication , very friendly welcome but most importantly, a lovely room. Immaculate, a super comfy bed, nice covered balcony, love a shower with a view! The extra touches are what sets in apart, a water cooler in the hall, a fan in the room, a little mini cool flask of milk ( admittedly I asked as I hate UHT milk but not a problem) Breakfast, much classier than the good old English fry up, and beautifully presented fruit was a nice touch. Yes it’s on a busy road but it’s fine at night, no traffic noise at all. In fact the bed was so comfy I was gutted I had to get up and get ready to go for breakfast… I would have loved to go back to sleep as it’s such a rare occurrence for me to get a good night’s sleep! I highly recommend and would not hesitate to return.

I found this place by accident, was meant to be staying at another B&B but when we turned up it was closed! Everything about the Beaches was fabulous, service ,room & food. I had the most comfortable night whilst my husband was fishing, Thank you Jo & Buzz.

A+++++ 100% recommend. Amazing views Jo and buzz amazing as always. Told them i was fasting and wouldnt eat breakfast. So they made me lunch to take with me. Lovely room sea views lovely family. Stayed her many times and will continue to do so.

Stayed at Beaches for one night and had breakfast in the morning. What an absolutely fantastic experience this was for me. The room was immaculate, clean and warm. The breakfast was delicious and tasty! The best thing about this hotel are the owners. Both Jo and Buzz were absolutely the nicest people I've met! They couldn't do more for me and didn't make me feel like I was just another customer. Beaches has a very homely feel to it. It's like visiting the parents! My room was out of this world with a balcony sea view like it was straight out of a movie. You almost forget you are in southend. I will be coming back! You can count on that! Thanks guys!
