We were warmly greeted by Buzz the owner. He took our bags and helped us. It was very funny because as we came in another couple came out telling us how fab the place was. Buzz made a joke and said he had paid him to say that, we all laughed. You can see why the place is so popular as it is set in a nicer part of Southend and right facing the sea, views are lovely. Buzz explained where breakfast would be served the next day etc. he escorted us to the lovely see front room which was pretty special. Lovely bathroom and no need to take toiletries. Breakfast time was a real treat, greeted by 2 lovely ladies, lots of choice and freshly cooked food to order. All in all 5/5 as nothing let this place down

Yet another stay at this beautiful place. Catered for to the usual high standard by buzz and jo. 3rd year now. Everything is always perfect with our stay. Ceiling on entrance has been done with the most beautiful fish. Hand painted. Everything within the guest house and our room perfect as usual. Think we brought the scottish weather with us a little bit ha ha. Great to meet up with all my family While there

The Guest house was absolutely gorgeous, the style of the house was so pretty, a lovely beach house vibe, felt like we were in the Hamptons, it was spotless, the room had everything, so cozy and a lovely beach view from the balcony. The breakfast was amazing with a lovely fresh fruit salad plate to start, im a bit fussy with my Eggs Benedict, they cooked it to perfection, we had a good laugh with Buzz and renamed it Eggs Mary, Jo and Buzz were so welcoming and friendly, very helpful, we have family in the area and we will be definitely back again hopefully soon

We had an amazing stay at Beaches. The grounds and house are impeccable, with lovely interiors. There are so many thoughtful details throughout the property, and Buzz and Jo were responsive, kind, and personable. The area is close enough to walk to the main part of town, but we loved the quiet and calmer street, as well as the dining options. We will be back!

What a fantastic find! Such a lovely Guest House. So much attention to detail - environmentally aware, very clean and fresh, lovely friendly staff.
The toiletries were gorgeous - I particularly loved that the packaging was printed using natural products. And, breakfast was beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious, in a beautiful, bright breakfast room and garden.
Excellent all round. I can't wait to go back.

Perfect place for a stay.
Room was excellent and clean, breakfast included and waterboiler in the room.
It is obvious that the hosts have shown thoughtfulness for their visitors.
Hosts were friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed my stay there. Thank you!
