Good clean & tidy Travelodge. Welcoming staff. Room was well kept and everything worked as it should. Car parking close by so no issues there. You are close by the town so easy access to the shops but it is a long walk to the beach, so best take the car or bus. Few down and outs were hanging close to the entrance. Super cafe over the road & also a Dominos pizza right next to the Travelodge

I stayed at the Travelodge for 2 nights and my experience was really good. The room was clean, it was spacious and the staff were really friendly, polite and attentive. Maria in particular was really kind to me, as well as extremely helpful! As well, the hotel is well located and near to the town centre, restaurants and shops. 10/10 ✨

Have stayed here many times Maria very friendly and helpful as always Thanks Maria and also to other members of staff on previous visits Hotel is perfectly located in the town centre Rooms spacious and very comfortable Highly recommended!

The rooms are modern and clean. The exterior is tatty and unwelcoming. Some practical advice: The car park opposite is chargeable from 8:00 am till 6:00 pm. You can pay on the RingGo app but you can’t prepay for the following morning so you have to log on at 8:00 am if your car is still there. There is a small cafe opposite open for coffee at 8:00 am and cooked breakfast from 8:30. Breakfast is good and costs between £8 and £11. Staff were helpful. There is a Slug and Lettuce pub with a large garden just around the corner.

Maria is an excellent receptionist and manager. I was dealt with professionally, efficiently, and in a friendly way when I arrived. Her coffee recommendation was excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable. It is a good value and well located hotel. Maria is an asset!

Hotel was clean and the room was bigger. It has a very relaxing ambiance and a comfortable feeling during our stay. Thanks to Fei who was very pleasant and accommodating. Love this short vacation with my family.

I said here with my family and kids the woman at the front desk. Maria was super kind and welcoming. She is amazing and had a great communication skills. She is very nice. The room was amazing. It was super clean and comfortable. Slept like a baby with 100%. Recommend it.

It is very good. It is very amazing in the terms of location as it is near the Southend pier and railway station. Would 100% recommend it rooms were amazing super comfortable rooms everything was clean comfortable and spectacular. Maria is my star person as he was super welcoming and had a great personality.

Maria was very friendly and helpful, nothing was to much when we asked her for anything and met all our needs. Hotel in good location and close to shops and venue, room was clean and other members of staff were accommodating. Would stay again.
