Hamiltons Boutique Hotel

I generally book big hotels to get bigger rooms . This had a smallish bedroom, though with 2 wardrobes and loads of drawers. The shower room was really small but plenty shelf and cupboard space. The lounge/dining room absolutely ticked all the boxes. Good dining suite 2 leather couches, TV, fridge and again loads of drawer and cupboard space. What really is the star feature is the 2 full height sash windows and french windows all opening on to the balcony. Great breakfast and a hostess that cares.

Very terrible experience. This price can go to a better hotel. Their quilts make my skin sensitive and red now. Also they suspected racial discrimination，one of there staff was so mean. Hope the people who will stay there won't have the same experience again.

We booked the suite for one night and was very impressed, very spacious clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. Bed was extremely comfortable and the suite was spotless. The room had a balcony with great views of the sea and garden area, the hotel is in a great location walking distance to the high street and seafront. We didn’t make it to breakfast but I’m sure it would have been of excellent quality going by the rest of the hotel and what they offered. The lady who welcomed us was lovely and very helpful. Would most definitely return. 10/10

Have just returned from a 2 night stay at this B&B . The location is great for the town centre, beach and pier. I stayed in the Hamilton Suite which is up 4 flights of stairs and on 1st inspection looks lovely and that was why i chose that room online but on my 1st night i found the bed to be so creaky with every move i made which i worried about as i knew there was people in the next room and wasnt able to rest anything on the right bedside table due to it being on a slant and things falling off apart from a drink as there was a leathery coaster on it, having said that however the bed was comfortable. The owner is aware of the creaky bed/ mattress let me assure you but i wont say how i know this for a fact. But and this is a big but for me, the amount of cracks around the room were a joke and i dont mean little cracks, 1 going right along the skirting board and halfway up the wall (have posted some quick pics and the mirror in the bathroom has deffo seen better days. Talking of the bathroom, im not that tall but there is hardly any legroom between the toilet and the shower so found it easier to sit sideways and the toilet seat does not fit that well. Would i call this boutique ? not really and sorry to say defiantly not wort the £380.
