Nasty hotel, stinking off urine & even if it was free i would never stay here. Its down one of the worst Roads in the area, the only views are rubbish on the floor or bins. Camera surrounding the place because its ao rough. Stay anywhere but here! Southend is full of places to stay! No need to waste your money here because you will regret it.

The hotel is very dirty and not well maintained. There is no care for the customer by the hotel team or person in charge. The bathroom was not clean at all and the Tv set wasn't working The floor of the room was so dirty and covered with food crumbs and blood stains. The mattress on the bed itself was dirty and same thing with the bedding's. There was noise coming from inside the hotel. The room that was allocated to me had no wardrobe for us to put our clothes. There was no adequate complimentary toiletries provided in our allocated room. The balcony as advertised by the hotel was not even safe for anyone to walk in as it was falling apart with exposed wires. We couldn't stay for the 2 nights we had booked for and left almost immediately I have promised myself that i will be making a formal complaint about this hotel to the Southend Council as soon as possible because i strongly believe this hotel is not fit and safe for people to stay in.

Well where to start…. We’re still in the lovely front bedroom with bird poop covering the windows to interupt the “garden” view. My work mate is asleep but visibly shivering as the gap in the window is filled by a piece of foam to keep the wind out… out tv remote had no batteries so off I scampered to the local Tesco to buy some more only to find that the TV is actually broken 🤣 there is what I think is a self service restaurant on the second floor, a fridge freezer on the hallway with a disgusting microwave next to it. There are a few moldy bananas in the side of the fridge if you’re peckish though. Personally I wouldn’t advise opening the door as the smell puts you straight off your food. The Room itself isn’t too bad……nope on second thoughts it’s so so bad, by far the worst I’ve ever stayed in. Miss mash furniture, dirty bathroom, no TV, bed like a rock, noise from outside. On the plus side the last residents left us half a bar of soap as apology for stealing the TV remote batteries which was very good of them. I would have taken it all up with the owner, however, he doesent seem to be available face to face and to be fair to him if this was my “hotel” then I would stay well clear of customers too. I did get a compliment on the way out from one of the other residents on how nice my trainers were though! Considering he was wearing bin bags on his feet I didn’t quite see where he was coming from. On the whole, I’m at 23:45 and still not slept yet but can’t wait until my breakfast In the morning 😋 Guys, DO NOT STAY HERE 😩😩😩

I was supposed to stay here in august 2022 but left without staying. The room was disgusting, there were stains all over the floor and an odour like one I’ve never smelt in my lift. The room was filthy, the bathroom still had shampoo etc from the prior occupants. The front door had been kicked in at the bottom and poorly fixed. I texted the owner regarding a refund but did not hear back. Will be referring to environmental health etc as it is a safety concern that people could be staying there

this place is disgusting, the owner is rude. Stunk of ****, the room was like a slum. Judging by the other reviews, which we wish we had read first, how is this place still open. Needs condemning. We lasted 5 minutes then booked elsewhere. AVOID

Ourside. Filthy windows, cracked surface (concrete) plants badly need tlc, front door boared up. NO reception/care. In fact, these are really bed sits. IT IS NOT AN HOTEL!!! Room good, 2 nice reproduction chairs) en suite small, shower damaged, sm wash basin no hot water to shave in but pointless because there was no plug. Toilet seat moves. ONLY person we saw wanted us out by 11 and the keys. Clearly, customer care and English were NOT is forta. Noise outside awful, to very late. This place shold not be on *********** or similer sites; tarnishes their image and this is NOT AN HOTEL

We stayed at this bed and breakfast recently and was shocked at the state of the place. Wish we had taken pictures! DB room at top floor on right hand side significantly dirty stained carpet, wiring hanging from walls, no covering on light fitting in bathroom. Shower curtain black and mouldy, bedding had hair in it, paw prints from neighbours feral cats who come in and out of house as and when, on pillows. Plasterboard walls adjacent to balcony caused room to be very cold at night. Too scared to get into bed or use shower. Had a restless night's sleep on top of bedding lying on towels freezing. No cups or kettle in room, rang owner/Manager to enquire he said in hallway but he was at home just fobbed me off wasn't bothered. Fridge in hallway dirty and rotten scraps of food inside. Front door is left open, keys kept in keypads at front door looks ridiculous and tacky, thought it was sheltered accommodation for elderly at first. Clapped out old van parked at back. Smelt of cigarettes in-house. Has poorest reviews on *********** please read. Avoid at all costs, certainly DO NOT consider bringing children here!

What ever you do, do not book this hotel !! No parking , smells of ********, the main door is left open so anyone can walk in . The rooms are honestly the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. The bed is full of stains, the bathroom is a health hazard, urine on the floors , the shower is filthy, The carpets are full of stains and old food and body fluids. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We didn’t stay it was that bad … we left and booked a hotel across the road. Absolutely disgusting hotel. Massive safety issues and health issues. The photos on *********** are false!!
