The room was a really good size. The balcony was at a level where there was no building blocking either the view or afternoon sun - we had to pay extra for this though. The fridge didnt really seem to work, at least the freezer didnt. When putting icecreams in the freezer, they melted, so I turned the dial to cooler and then the fruit in the fridge froze our fruit. We really shouldnt need to adjust settings in the fridge/freezer for them to work. Also the toilet keep running after it flushed. The only way to stop the running of water was to push down on the flush a few times quickly.

The hotel is strategically located right by the Yarra River, within walking distance to the city center and Chinatown. The rooms are relatively large, fully equipped, laundry and drying are very convenient, and the breakfast is rich in variety. It is worth choosing.

The West Quay Hotel is in a very good location, on the south bank of the Yarra River, in a quiet area. Across the bridge is the free tram area of Flinders Railway Station and Coles supermarket.
The hotel suite is very suitable for a family to live together, equipped with a living room, dining room, kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, and comes with its own laundry detergent.
