The check in process was friendly, the checkout was not. The ac was jot inthe room so when we got into it it was muggy, hot and gross. We had to turn the ac on and go to dinner before doing anything in the room. There were cobwebs in the room. The water was hot and the pressure was good. Overall an good stay for $75 for one night.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I booked two rooms at the Parkview Inn & Conference Center in Allentown, PA through *******, expecting a basic but safe hotel stay for my family, including young children (as that’s what I was promised on the phone). What we encountered was not only false advertising — it was a deeply disturbing and unsafe environment that should not be allowed to operate. We arrived around 3:00 PM, in broad daylight, only to be met with an alarming scene that no parent should ever have to expose their children to. There were individuals actively using *****, with needles visibly strewn across the parking lot. The pool — prominently featured on ******* and the hotel’s website — is clearly nonfunctional and appears to have been abandoned for years. The so-called “volleyball court” was indistinguishable from a weed-infested lot, completely overgrown with four-foot-tall vegetation. But far more concerning was the general atmosphere of neglect, danger, and disorder. Many of the rooms appeared to be permanently occupied, with individuals loitering outside in a state of disrepair — some I wasn’t even sure were conscious or alive. Others appeared to be engaging in street-based work. This was not a hotel. This was a high-risk housing facility masquerading as a travel destination. I immediately called the front desk and politely requested a refund, citing the clear misrepresentation and genuine safety concerns for my family. I was told to “take it up with *******.” When I did, and after pleading — literally crying — for help while trying to protect my young children from what we had just driven into, the ******* representative laughed. Yes, laughed. Then informed me that because of a contractual agreement with the hotel, they couldn’t refund a dime. So now here I am — out hundreds of dollars, driving around Pennsylvania with overtired kids in the backseat, trying to find a safe, clean place to sleep. All because Parkview Inn blatantly misrepresented their facility online, and ******* refuses to take responsibility for the listings they host. This isn’t just a bad review. This is a formal call for accountability. This property is unsafe. It is unsanitary. It is dangerous. It is not family-friendly — it is not fit for any traveler. It should be inspected, investigated, and shut down. And Expedia’s refusal to support a family clearly put at risk by one of their partner properties is inexcusable. Do not stay here. Do not book through *******. I am pursuing this further through consumer protection channels.

The location is quiet and having our own door was a bonus. Parking was in abundance and the grounds are tidy and inviting for perimeter walks.

I been staying at this hotel a couple of times with friends. This time I was traveling with my family. I chose to stay with them here. For my first impressions, carpet was dirty and fridge had a strong smell to vomit. Air conditioner needs cleaning strong smell coming out of it too. And I won’t be talking about the bathroom (even worse). Besides those little details, I like the hotel. It’s more about a strong cleaning service.
