Get some help/advice
We saw the advertising promoting newly renovated rooms and being one of the most modern motels in Tamworth. Ah, no! You really need some guidance, half measures and focusing on the wrong things doesn't work. Ask what's more important to your guests! New magnetic key locks or clean linen that is not stained from goodness knows what, and if the reverse cycle air-conditioning doesn't heat the room replace it don't stick a bar heater in hoping it will do. Speaking of cold nights, it was -2 and the only blanket was one of those thin cotton things. This motel is in a awkward location, terribly noisy from the traffic. We could see you are trying to fix the place up but get some help.

It's a NO from me
Would I stay here again? NO! In fact, I did not stay the 2 nights I had booked. I left early. I should've asked for a refund.
Now I am not a precious person, and I do not have 'fancy' standards, however......
The photos on the internet are NOTHING like what it actually looks like.
The bedding was stained and had cigarette burns in them. My room was supposed to be a queen bed, but it was only a double. I did not sleep in the bedding, lucky I had my own blankets in the car and used them.
The mini fridge was held up with duct tape.
There was some kind of air freshener used that was awful.
The location is VERY VERY noisy and I did not get any sleep.
The gentleman upon arrival was lovely and very welcoming but that was just about the only positive I could give :(

Unfortunately, we just couldn’t stay due to mould and cigarette smells.
The owner, however, was very polite and understanding and refunded our additional nights straight away, which we really appreciated.

The front door to our room was glass, so no privacy from outside, had to put toliet paper roll under middle of bed as it was collapsed, was a family room but not family user friendly, microwave had food bits in it, supplied some plates and crockery but nothing to wash/ clean them with.black feet from dirty tiles,

A fight broke out and police were called the night we stayed. The kids felt unsafe. Would not stay there again. Decor and set up is very old.
