Stayed in the annexe outside which at first thought would be annoying but then realised how much bigger the rooms were than my friends.

Stayed on 28 July only problem with this hotel is our stay wasn’t long enough. I booked a room for daughter’s birthday my daughter is disabled and contacted the hotel to see if it was disabled friendly. It wasn’t but they changed our booking to a disabled friendly room it was a annex attached to hotel it was perfect if you have a car there is disabled parking.from the moment we arrived to leaving the staff were amazing. The reception staff bar staff waitress and housekeeping staff so helpful. The meals are lovely too my daughter had the best time and all the local attractions on your doorstep my daughter had the best time we will be back

Die Zimmer sind - freundlich ausgedrückt - abgewohnt. Das Bad ist verschimmelt, die Wände verdreckt und statt einer Klimanlage bietet uns die Rezeption einen weiteren Ventilator an. Einen Schrank gibt es nicht, nur eine Stange mit ein paar eingestaubten Bügeln. Nach Reklamation bekommen wir ein anderes Zimmer im Anbau. Zwar jetzt mit Klima und Schrank, aber mit genauso verdrecktem Bad und Möbel Marke Gelsenkirchner Barock. Das Buffet zum Frühstück ist extrem überschaubar. Im Preis inbegriffen ist Toast auf Anfrage, Cerealien und Obst (die drei Bananen, die jeden Morgen dort lagen, wurden auch nicht besser). Warmes Essen wird per Speisearte berechnet. Dass unsere Tassen im frisch eingedeckten Tisch dreckig waren, passt in's Bild. Das sehr junge Personal war stets bemüht.

Booked overnight stay. Room was allocated in the Annex . Avoid these rooms as in serious need of update Paint peeling off the doors Room not very clean and very basic. Although the air con did work which was more than the plug the tv was plugged into. The mattress was terrible I can only assume very old and worn out Breakfast was similar to the room. Luke warm tea and limited cold buffet (Almost non existent) Ordered a hot breakfast that when it actually came was ok. Hotel and staff need a lot of attention and training

DO NOT STAY HERE… This place is running a scam with their parking. I paid to park here for three hours back in April. Three weeks later I received a parking fine charging me £100. I appealed and they upheld the fine. SCUMBAGS! DO NOT STAY/PARK here. The company that is robbing people are Initial Parking and they are obviously in cahoots with this trashy hotel.

Lovely setting and nice place to stay for business on the coast of South Shields in the North East. In places the rooms need a touch up but convienient and very nice breakfast where you are a footstep away from a nice walk along the beach. Will be staying again.

Had a great stay. Barman was so sound, bar has Sky TV & isnt bad value compared to some places in Shields. Breakfast was good. Room was perfect. One receptionist was lovely and friendly one was a bit cold and quiet. Hotel Seems a bit unloved / uncared for in places but overall i was glad we opted to go back. Room was hot and we needed the window. The sound off the birds in the park opposite ALL night was nearly deafening but we could laugh about it.
