Days Inn by Wyndham San Francisco S/Oyster Point Airport

I have been coming here for years now. Patrick the manager, and Doris head housekeeper are fantastic. The property is being completely renovated, almost done with new larger TVs and other amenities. Parking is free and another added benefit, I am able to receive deliveries with charge. I can only say good things about this hotel and plan a return trip in November

Lots of homeless people near by, smokers outside of lobby door. Shuttle service is a hired driver in a personal car. Driver was 30 mins late for pick up at airport and drove erratically all over the highway. Stay away from this place. We didn’t even check in, requested an uber to a different, safer, hotel after we arrived.

Good stay at this price.. Nice staff and nice rooms with all basic equipments.

$10 Parking on site parking was available. The room & parking price were lower than many places we looked at. The room was clean and decently maintained. There was a fridge & microwave. There was a constant sound of traffic from the street but it was more like white noise. What we didn’t like- there was the sensor in the sink area that set off a bright light every time anyone got up to go to the toilet in the night. ******* said breakfast was from 7am but when we came down and asked about it on the intercom/phone, the staff said it opened at 8am. We needed to leave at 8am, so it was a rush. There wasn’t much for the grab & go breakfast. Just a few breakfast bars and small packaged pastries. No fruit or coffee. When we asked about coffee, we were told it was in the room. 2 packs for the individual coffee pods was what the room had. There were hardly any outlets in the room, and none really conveniently located to charge all of our devices. The bedding was kind of thin. It would have been nice to have an extra blanket. That being said, it was only for 1 night, and for the price I’d say it was a decent stay.

This is my 4th stay at this hotel. Previously, it was not great but now under the new management of Patrick, I will continue to return here. Yes, a budget hotel, but the staff especially housekeeper Doris and their maintenance team have been fantastic. The hotel is close to freeway so if you keep your windows open, you will hear the traffic. On the other hand, it is located within 5 minutes of the 101 freeway and 8 minutes away from SFO Airport. Just down Airport Blvd. is Grand Avenue which is full of restaurants, coffee shops, gas stations, dry cleaners, hardware, and small shops. Trader Joe's is about a 9 minute drive, Lucky Supermarket 12 minutes away. I am an older woman and have always felt very safe here. The rooms are currently all being repainted in a much warmer color scheme. Anytime I have needed any amenities such as fresh towels, my bedding changed, toilet paper, Kleenex, coffee packets, cups, the staff is always ready to provide. Parking is free and the management can assist with transportation to the airport. Wifi is free and consistent. The lobby is open until 10pm. There is a white phone just outside the lobby door. Pick up the phone and Patrick will answer and come and meet you in the lobby. I also appreciate that I can order Amazon deliveries free of charge and they are always waiting for me. The landscaping is well tended to and the property is always clean. There are two family run small markets within a minute walk. One of them makes hand-crafted sandwiches and always has a steady clientele. The stores have the usual array of snacks, chips, small sundries like bandaids, and aspirin and are open into the evening hours. The atmosphere is peaceful and I have never experienced any disturbing experiences. On this trip, I stayed for over a month so I feel my review is an accurate description of staying here.
