Fabulous hotel, good food, excellent staff, good location, lovely grounds, good value, would definitely recommend, especially if you wanted to take you dog with you as they are pet friendly.

A delightful hotel , super staff , excellent service and food … very large room .. smallest TV we’ve ever seen in the corner of the room which unless you have 20/20 vision you won’t see much from the bed 😂.. also small shower head in the bath is 7ft high so immovable and unreachable and not great for doing certain parts .. so if you are over 7ft tall with 20/20 vision you should be ok … joking aside and apart from that its a really good stay here and we will be back ..

Chosen as a stopover between events and what a great choice it was. Lovely room, great bed, fantastic evening meal and breakfast. Staff were brilliant too.

I have lived in the local area for around 4 months and have been to the lodge for meals, coffees and drinks. I cannot speak highly enough of all of the staff, Donna is outstanding as a manager and a credit to the hotel. All the staff from Susan and Paul to all the staff working at the hotel are amazing. If you are booking a wedding or just popping in for a drink it is a fantastic place. We love it as a family. A special mention to when my daughter goes in the make a real fuss of her and she has told us she wants a job there.

A little late in posting this recommendation but better late than never. We (Unique Ladies Business Network) used Farington Lodge for our International Women's Day celebration in March. The venue received so many compliments from our guests. As the organiser, the communication was second to none. They were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The staff were all incredible. The food was delicious. A beautiful venue with delightful grounds.
