Pheasant Inn

We arrived at the inn to a lovely welcome from the staff. This trip was during a heat wave and the lady at the desk has kept our bedroom curtains closed to keep the room cool. The beds were comfortable, clean and fresh. The bathroom. Spacious and clean with products there to use. We enjoyed pre dinner drinks and snacks out in the garden, the wine was beautiful and very reasonably priced. We then had dinner which was delicious. Extremely tasty, fresh, beautifully presented. The staff were also very accommodating. Breakfast the next morning was freshly prepared and plentiful. A really special place to stay. No unnecessary frills but extremely thoughtful staff and attention to detail.

Nice setting on a country road. Easy parking. Was worried since we were over the bar but everything seemed to shut down about 10. Room was spacious but a little soulless. There is a lounge downstairs but not sure who uses it and we didn’t either. Good breakfast.

Unbelievable back drops and views from the property. Fantastic staff and food and excellent walking in the surrounding areas. Cannot recommend enough this little gem of a place. In summer the garden must be stunning. We will definitely return.

Great stay! We had a lovely stay here....the room was clean and comfortable and service good. Breakfast was delicious by the fire. Thank you!
