Stayed in the yurt for one night and I was really impressed. Log fire in there so that was cosy, beds were comfy and linen really clean. The facilities were great in the main building to games, books, vending machine, bar etc. Toilets were clean didn't need to use the shower. Great views of the lake, would 100% stay again!

1. Location, the hotel is just by the lake, but it is a 30-minute drive from Windermere, and it is far from the Lake District. 2. Some rooms can accommodate an extra bed, 15 pounds a day, including breakfast. 3, the hotel is large and has a lot of parking spaces. 4. The meal is great, classic English. 5, the hotel toiletries are good, is the British Royal Development Supplies MB, the bathroom's heating rack is open in the summer, the towel will be done overnight. Although it is not the most beautiful season, it has a unique style, the air is fresh and the environment is beautiful, and the fog in the morning is even more fairy, which is very suitable for relaxing vacation. Although we passed by for a small stay for one night, we have added a lot to our journey.

Last week my husband and I got married in this beautiful hotel chosing the ”Just Us” package along with a few extra guests. We all had the most wonderful time and the day was just magical! From start to finish the whole experience was exceptional. From first viewing the hotel and booking our ceremony, all of the correspondence with the ceremony planner leading up to our big day, everything was seamless and nothing was too much trouble. Even our labrador Barney was made to feel at home with his own little welcome pack The hotel is in the most beautiful location and all of the staff who work there were amazing, working so hard to make our day special. The gardens are lovingly and beautifully cared for which makes this one of the most gorgeous locations overlooking the lake. The food, including afternoon tea and evening meals were exquisite. The only downside was the sadness we felt having to leave this fabulous location. But we will definitely be back in the future.
