Marriott Grand Residence Club, Lake Tahoe

Everything is great! We love the pool.

Grand Residence is the finest property we have ever visited. The entire property is indeed impressively elegant right from the lobby to the room. The lobby is very spacious with a fantastic interior. They have provided ample sofas and chairs for the guests. There are also fire places at convenient locations. These are very useful especially in cold weather. The rooms are fantastic with couple of sofas and chairs. There are two television sets in the living room and bedroom. They have taken utmost care to ensure their guests are comfortable.

Nice stay. Hotel is older and needs both an updating and some maintenance, but nothing terrible. Fantastic location from a convenience standpoint. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms can be a bit noisy depending on location, but it all seems to end fairly early. The pool is great, but there didn't seem to be a lot else for the kids.

A fantastic hotel in the perfect location in South Lake Tahoe. We booked the day before we checked in as part of our road trip and we were pleasantly surprised, the property has a lot of character, sort of ski chalet vibe. Staff were all help and friendly, particularly the lady on check in who had just joined in October (didn’t catch her name). Whilst our room was nothing particular special, it was still clean, tidy and comfortable. There are no bars or restaurants within the hotel but they offer you a discount card which can be used in some of the restaurants, bars, shops in the area. The pool area is very nice, although they were doing minor construction work at the time. The large pool is nice, but the jacuzzi was lovely! Great stay, would recommend, thank you.

The mattress was too soft and too old. We were sinking in it and couldn’t sleep, very uncomfortable. Also, we did not ask for a handicap accessible room but were given one without any notification. We did not like this at all since the bathroom was designed to accommodate a handicap person and had very little room by the sink to put our stuff, and I mean literally very little room!!! Barely enough room for toothbrush and mouth wash and towel, no room for other personal hygiene items. Also, the shower designed for a handicap person, did not have any glass to cover and the curtain was just floating, there was no bath tub. As a result, the water would go everywhere in the shower after taking a shower. It was a mess!!! We had to use towels to cover the floor. Overall, very disappointing not worth the price at all

A large and well run hotel next to the Heavenly gondola in their “village”. Our Queen Studio room was overall nice and well stocked. The full but small kitchen was well stocked with quality appliances and kitchenware. The hotel has pool, spa, and ski storage onsite. They provide a daily light clean service we weren’t expecting. No restaurants onsite but many in the surrounding village. Only knock is the valet parking which was expensive,

We are from Taiwan and stayed at Marriott Grand Residence Club Lake Tahoe on 6/16-6/17, thank you to the hotel manager Gabrielle for your warm reception and help us solve many problems. I would like to offer you my sincerest thanks. The room we stayed in was equipped with a kitchen and living room, which was very comfortable. The hotel also has a free laundry room with free laundry detergent and dryer, which is very convenient for those of us who travel long distances. Although the hotel does not provide breakfast, but there is a supermarket across the road from the hotel, which sells a wide range of goods at reasonable prices. You can go to this place to buy daily necessities. The hotel has a beautiful outdoor swimming pool, sauna and barbecue grill utensils for guests to use free of charge. We will definitely come back again.
