Great location, just a stone throw away from the main lift up to the ski rentals + mountains. Rooms are spacious and generous, even with own kitchen + dining area. Wish there was daily room service though, we only got 1 for our 4 nights stay. Wish there were more variety for breakfast like oats or omelette, and the hash brown were always dry. Otherwise, breakfast service staff were friendly + is able to replenish efficiently.

Due to the star rating, the expectations were not too high, so there was no disappointment or surprise. The only problem was that the air conditioner was too noisy. It was cold when it was not turned on, but it was noisy and hot when it was turned on. There was a kitchen and you could cook something yourself. The exhaust in the bathroom was very noisy. Combined with the lighting, it was not good if it was not turned on. . Maybe it was because it was an old hotel.

This hotel was good but definitely needs upgrades. I can understand where previous reviews call out the updates these rooms need. I stayed in a two bedroom with a full kitchen. The kitchen did include all utensils, pots, coffee maker, toaster, dish rack, dish soap, paper towels, etc which was super helpful. Cabinets do need to be updated as they are definitely outdated. We did have a dining table that seated 5 which was perfect. The faux fireplace was a nice touch but we never used it. Tv does have cable and Samsung Live tv. The first bathroom seemed like it also needed upgrades- the standing shower seemed crammed and the door didn’t close properly. Other than the place needing updates I appreciated all the other amenities. The hot tub and room temp pool was nice. Free breakfast was great and make sure to get there before 9 before everyone swarms in! Hotel also offered free smores on Saturdays which was so nice. There is shared laundry on site. There is a small game room in the lobby which is a nice touch for kids. And walking to heavenly village or target was perfect- literally a less than 5 minute walk. Overall, this place does need some renovations and updating furniture but still was a pleasant stay.

Unclean common areas, dirty shower curtain, stained and poorly fitting sheets, no streaming allowed. In all, we spent our five nights in Lake Tahoe trying to convince ourselves we weren't grossed out the whole time. Never again will I book a block of nights at one place after this.

Rooms are old breakfast is poor pool is in need of tile work and on our 3rd night we had a smell called maintenance they came pretty quick and it was a rat in a trap behind the stove drawer also had a few flies asked for compensation was given 4 nights free parking I think it should have been more and never received a call to check how we were doing

It’s very convenient and relax. Walking distance to wherever you want to experience. The amenities like the pool and hot tub is right outside our living room that you can just walk right in to it. Breakfast is ok and maybe need some paint job here and there but I’m fine with it. And this is our fifth time staying in this place.

This is our go-to spot when visiting South Lake for the past 8 years! They have made many upgrades these past two years, and the staff are always wonderful. It’s the perfect location, and the addition of room service was a nice new amenity!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. With eight people in our group, we booked a suite, and it worked perfectly for us. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was clean and well kept. While the décor is a little dated, it’s not enough to take away from the experience. The extra touches really made our stay. s’mores for the kids, complimentary wine, and a free breakfast. I wasn’t expecting those, and they were a lovely surprise. The only slight disappointment was housekeeping. We were told the room would be cleaned on day four, but all that happened was a towel drop-off and one bed in the main bedroom being made. It felt a bit incomplete. It’s in a great location. We even seen a bear on the hotel grounds! Overall, it’s a great place to stay and I’d happily come back.
