Kind of a disappointment for a marriott vac club:( We were given an ADA room without being asked if it was what we wanted. We booked 13 months in advance - and when we asked if another room was available - we were given the run around and basically lied to about another room. We had two members of our family 6'4" who had to bend over all week to shower. We were given a $5 bottle of wine for the inconveniece. The water was off twice the week we were there and the room key machine was down one evening. Our room was not ready by 4pm check in also. We have been vacation club owners for 20 years and found this resort - lacking, probably one of our most disappointing.

Nice hotel, this is our second time staying here and unfortunately the last. Check-in was easy, Valet's were all super nice, but the issue is the noise in the rooms. Not sure if all rooms have the connector doors to adjoining rooms but ours had one and we were able to hear our neighbors phone conversations and music quite clearly, which was super super annoying. The staff did bring a foam insert to put between the doors which did help a bit but we could still hear our neighbors even after the staff kindly asked them to please quiet down. On a bright note, you can walk to all sorts of shops and stores, and we all loved the Bingo nights, pancake breakfasts and smores by the pool which were the highlight of the stay, but for the price, we'll be staying elsewhere. We checked out after 2 nights and went to the Everline Resort on the North Shore and it was so much quieter, peaceful and so much nicer, and less expensive!

This hotel is the epitome of a major corporation realizing it has a hotel in a prime location, so they know they can get away with treating their guests like garbage. I have never in my life experienced worse service at any hotel or business. It started with belligerent guests shouting profanity in the lobby in front of my very young kids and the staff did nothing about it. Then, the staff repeatedly sent us in the wrong direction because they didn’t know details about their own “resort”. Then, there was the fact that in a four day stay they never once cleaned our room. They claimed we had a do not disturb on our door which is clearly them trying to avoid the work because that was only on during the night. We even were left without toilet paper for days and had to buy our own. Each time we called the front desk you have to wait 30-40 mins on hold to reach anyone. Then when we finally did reach them, they said we could have more towels “for a fee”. But most pronounced was that at every interaction the hotel staff were beyond rude and treated us like they were doing us a favor by allowing us to pay hundred of dollars per night to be there. Be advised - if you are going to have zero hotel “services”‘including having basics like toilet paper and towels - save your money and stay in an Airbnb. Or, our friends stayed at the Hilton (which is actually on the water) and had a great experience. Avoid this hotel at all costs!! You will totally waste your time and money.

Upon checking into this hotel, we were initially very impressed, but unfortunately, our experience quickly declined. I don't mind paying for parking, but it was disheartening to be charged for changing sheets and bringing towels after paying for five nights with seven people in a two-bedroom suite. I typically stay at Marriott because of past positive experiences, but after spending 75 nights in hotels this year for work, this has been my worst experience so far. I've never had to pay for room cleaning or towel changes before. We even had to take out all our trash ourselves. Honestly, I would prefer to stay at an Airbnb if we have to handle everything ourselves or pay extra for basic services.

Mandatory valet: $25/day, plus $15 for EV charging—if they ever get to it. Three days, $50 in tips, and still no charge. “First come, first serve,” they say, while the valets stay rude, unhelpful, and utterly indifferent. The hotel? Equally bad. No bellmen—because it’s a “vacation property,” which is just Marriott’s excuse for offering rock-bottom service at full-service prices. You can’t reach the front desk. You can’t reach housekeeping. You’re stuck talking to an AI or waiting 45 minutes on hold. Get a human? RUDE. Hallways are absurdly long. Elite status? Doesn’t matter. The staff could not care less. And the jacuzzis? A festering soup of murk and humanity—overcrowded, filthy, and gross. Nice room. Great location. Everything else? Timeshare garbage. I’m done.
