Fairfield Inn & Suites South Kingstown Newport Area

The accommodation boasts modern amenities, convenient location, friendly staff, and impressive cleanliness. Guests enjoyed comfortable beds and a varied breakfast. However, no disadvantages were mentioned in the reviews.

We chose this hotel because there was nothing in Newport proper and it said Newport Area. This is the reason that I give it only 4 stars because it's 30 min to Newport proper. Other than the lengh of time it takes to get to downtown Newport this place was a dream. It was clean as a whistle the staff was welcoming and the rooms spacious. They offer a breakfast and it was surprisingly good. We stayed 2 days and the first morning they had crustless spinich quiche which was great for my keto diet. There was bacon and strawberries and I saw people with huge self made waffles! To me this was very surprising because I never go to the breakfast buffett in this type of hotel. The staff taking care of breakfast was incredibly friendly and helpful. I noticed one of the waitstaff bring a container of yogurt to one of the guests because it seemed the type she wanted was not in the cooler. My only disappointment was we wanted to stay again as we had reservations for Theatre by the Sea which is in the area but they were booked up due to the drop off students at URI which is in the area.

Rooms do not have enough outlets to charge all items. Glad I brought an extension cord and extra plug jack. Also there is no safe in the rooms. Hotel very clean and staff very courteous and helpful.
