A very pleasant hotel. The room was comfortable and quiet and the staff friendly and helpful. (Worth noting that the summer can be a challenging time with so many families vacationing but the staff handled everything beautifully) Features include free breakfast; coffee always available in the lobby; an indoor pool; a nice outside seating area/veranda outside the pool (this area is only visible from the pool); and laundry machines. The hotel is situated at the end of a walkable shopping area (South County Commons) with a movie theater, various casual restaurants (Applebee's, a few Italian and others) and a few coffee-cafes (Audrey’s, Rachel’s). Supermarket (Shaw's) is a short drive away. Our family would definitely return.

I chose this hotel based upon the Trip Advisor ratings. The exterior of the hotel and the lobby are very welcoming. However, our room was not at all as presented as the pics on the hotel website. I am a very picky hotel person, and we were disappointed that the room was not in the condition or style as we had anticipated. The reason I only gave this property 3⭐️rating was because of the room that we were in. Do NOT accept room 129. This is directly located across from the open door for the breakfast preparation and the staff was very noisy and woke us up at 5am. After several requests, the kitchen staff refused to keep their door shut. The reason I did give it 3⭐️ and no less is because of the professional manner in which the front desk staff handled my complaint and how promptly their manager Levi rectified the situation. They understood why I was not pleased with the situation and they did everything necessary to keep me as a Hilton Honors member so kudos to them for that.

I hate to give it one star, but the issue was how horrible the mattresses and pillows werr. Everything else I'd give 4 stars. Worse ones I've ever tried to sleep on. Paying over $700. for 2 nights should mean you actually get some sleep. Hotel was completely full.Will be hesitant to book with a Hilton property.

Came to South Kingston to visit my daughter and son in law who were directing and performing in shows at Theatre By the Sea! Stayed 4 nights! It was also my Birthday! Love this hotel! Lovely attention to details, cleanliness, comfort and relaxing stay! Breakfast was hot and plentiful! Coffee available 24 seven! Have stayed here before so I knew I would be back! Centrally located to many beaches, restaurants and small towns for sightseeing!You will love it! Bring family too! Nice pool and workout area!

The Hampton Inn in South Kingstown, RI was not only the perfectly located for our stay, it was very clean and nicely appointed with many great amenities. The free breakfast was fantastic and there was so much available to do in the area we wish we had more time to explore and enjoy. I must add that the best part of our experience here was the fact that all the employees were very helpful, professional, and nice. In particular, Brittany, Jane, and Adam went out of their way to assist us in any way they could to enhance our time there. They are definitely dedicated individuals who are a major asset to this location.
