The hotel is perfect for family. we took 2 bedroom. as we have small kids, the stove comes in handy to make their porridge. there's a kids club too which was relatively small but still good enough for our toddlers. the breakfast buffet had good choices of food. there in room dining choices was plenty. However, we tried the rasaspa for an hour massage. they weren't welcoming didn't even ask what type of massage we wanted eventho there was 4 types of massage on their brochure. was very boring compared to other spas ive been to. there's no background music so it was completely silent in the room (very awkward) and the masseuse phone kept vibrating. so didnt rlly enjoy the spa.

When im check in the room is clean however i found House lizard dead in the room, tha hot water in the bathtub is not working also but the staff was quick for taking action. The room is quite noisy since the room is facing to front side.
2nd time staying here. The first one is in room 511, ok stars ๐๐๐๐๐ the facilities
The second one was given room 228 even though it was noted that the top floor was a smoking room, but I just accepted it, so I couldn't rest but the room was really different from the first time I stayed, room 228 had bad facilities, the lights were dead, The TV has a small sound even though the volume is at full 100, the drinking water is empty, you can't get tea bags/coffee or a brewing machine, there's no DND hanger like the first stay in room 511 on the 5th floor. room 228 is not recommended. What I like about Liberta Kemang is that the security guys are friendly and humble, so they like to give tips to the security guys. Hopefully it can be an input before the room is ready. It would be good to check the equipment and lights, for positive feedback on the AC and cleanliness ๐
The hotel is located in the most strategic location of your aim to stay in the Kemang area South of Jakarta. Also this hotel is a very vibrant hang out place for many young people especially on weekends, which is why you should not choose it if youโre looking for peaceful sleep at night . The rooms are generally clean and provided with minimal amenities. Two big towels in each room but hand towels you need to ask otherwise they will not give you . Walls are in generally also too thin so you may have a chance to hear things that are happening next door or above your room ! My biggest problem with this Hotel is that the shower doesnโt really have Hot Water . Itโs just little little bit warm and you have to turn off the Aircon in your room to avoid catch cold during and after shower . Their breakfast is excellent, the Nasi Goreng is famously known to be so delicious. I would still choose to stay here if itโs a short stay of 2 days but will not choose if itโs longer than that .
Pro:
- good location
- many coffee shops and convenience stores around
- spacious room at low budget
cons:
- soundproofing is not proper
- no basic amenities like soap/toothpaste
- common area is very small and basic
Overall itโs good pick for budget traveler
I recently stayed at the Grandkemang Hotel Kemang Jakarta and I must say that it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is an old building but it has a cozy and spacious feel to it. The room I stayed in was big and clean and had all the necessary amenities. The pool was a great place to relax and unwind, and the hotel was quiet which made it even more peaceful.
However, I did notice that the hotel had a smell which could be due to its age. Despite this, I would still recommend the Grandkemang Hotel Kemang Jakarta to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Jakarta.
