The staff is fantastic! The breakfast is varied and delicious. We received excellent assistance when the second room we booked wasn't on the same floor (this was requested).
The pool is nice but not used much. The fitness center is good.

The hotel and the service itself is very fancy and nice. The rooms, or at least the room I was in, was very old and therefore somewhat run down. But the overall stay was quite pleasant and it was adequately clean also.

Pros: The front desk staff was very friendly; the breakfast buffet was generous and the restaurant on the 8th floor was excellent; the pool and gym were excellent amenities. The deluxe room was quite large, with a great view, making it one of the best value hotels I've stayed in recently.

For a suite, it feels a bit bare, especially the lighting, which is blindingly white. All the hotel's lighting is fluorescent, which strains the eyes, and uses direct lighting. Check-in takes a long time due to new employee training. Staff training shouldn't be a nuisance to guests. This isn't the attitude of a five-star hotel. All the indoor plants were plastic.
