Peace Garden Beach Resort

Overpriced and oversold. Peaceful it was not, “deluxe” it was not. We booked 9 nights in a deluxe sea front cabin. There was a business training function taking place that they had rented most of the rooms out for, and was hosted directly under our room. Upon arrival the manager asked me if, “we go to bed early?”. Assuming it was for one night, I ignored this and we went out for dinner. I’m a reasonable guy. For 4 days and nights we had a full-on 20 or so NLP training group below our room (which is made of tin so they might just as well be with you). We were woken by them each day at 7am, then during the day they were making noise below us, then at night, the same. On the 4th night we had had enough. They were screeching and shouting at 9pm, below us, so I went and asked the staff to put a stop to it. This worked for all of 15 mins. At 10pm I had to go down and ask them all to shut up as we were trying to sleep. We could not even hear the sound over them on my laptop trying to watch a movie at 8pm. By this stage we had had enough. Not only with the constant noise, but also having to walk through a corporate training session in our swimmers when we returned from the beach. I had prepaid for half the booking of 9 nights. On day 5, after 4 nights, I told the manager we wanted to checkout as this was unacceptable and we were not comfortable staying there, especially after having to tell a large part of the residents to be quiet. He point blank refused to compromise , telling me we had no right to cancel under the booking terms and conditions. We both explained to him that the easiest and fairest solution was to let us leave , having already paid for the time we had spent there, plus some extra. He was not having it, questioning how it affected us, and telling us nowhere else would be “quieter”. At this point he walked away to "think about it". The manager did put the business group on a table on the beach for their last night so we could sleep, and this was appreciated. I think they all had a better time too, The room was far from “deluxe”. Over the 1st 4 days we had no hot water on day 1, tepid water on day 2, pump failure on day 3, and no water again on day 4 when my partner was trying to wash off soap in the shower. There was a state wide power outage on one day which was planned and no one thought to warn us about so we didn't charge up laptops and phones. The upstairs "deluxe" rooms also have no privacy on the balcony if you are on the "wrong" side of the dividing curtains. When they come up the stairs the first thing they see is you. The rooms are cleaned every other day, when they actually turn up, which is not always, as you have to wait while they work as reception won’t give them a key. The rooms are also not sealed at all. The bathroom fan vents don’t close, so we had to leave it on 24/7 to limit what came back into the room through it, the front door has a gap big enough for fingers to fit underneath. Disappointing Experience at Peace Garden Goa. Disappointing Experience at Peace Garden Goa. I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Peace Garden Goa. I believe it is important to bring to your attention the various issues I encountered during my stay. Firstly, the rate of the hotel was exorbitantly expensive, and I regret to say that it did not justify the amount I paid. I found the food quality to be tasteless, of bad quality, and unreasonably priced. To my disappointment, I was charged for items I did not order or that were canceled due to quality issues. Paying Rs. 4000 to 5000 per day for a subpar and unappetizing breakfast was truly disheartening. Furthermore, the condition of the rooms and the room service left much to be desired. Despite our best efforts, we had to contend with an abundance of bugs on the bed and mosquitoes buzzing around. As a result, my companions and I suffered from rashes all over our bodies, which was undoubtedly a distressing experience. In terms of connectivity, the hotel lacked a proper WiFi network, and there was no network coverage for any Indian SIM cards in the area. I must also express my disappointment with the behavior of the hotel management. Despite repeatedly raising concerns about the food quality and WiFi connection, no satisfactory action was taken to address these issues. This lack of responsiveness and attention to guest concerns greatly impacted my overall experience.

Amazing beach resort on the beautiful Talpona beach. The rooms are clean with AC & fans, the staff are so friendly & the food is some of the best we've had in Goa. The chef is wonderful. The setting right on the beach is wonderful. It's very chilled & a great place to just "be" The manager Deepak was extremely helpful throughout our stay & helped arrange local taxis, tuk tuks, boat trips, anything we needed. Thank you, will definitely be back 🙏

The staff are great and very friendly, room's are comfortable with spectacular views, food was excellent and the beer was cold, what more do you need , the guys in this resort will help you with whatever you need tuktuk, taxi's, best boat trips, airport transfer ect

I Stayed in Peace Garden with my family. We enjoyed alot, Foods was very delicious & fresh, Food served to us was so fresh & delicious. From breakfast to dinner everything we enjoyed a lot. Peace garden is really one of the best place in goa for ( Family, Couples & To Everyone ) Beaches Are Very Clean It is Just Out Of The Restaurant You Can Enjoy Beach From Morning To Till Evening...!! I Highly Recommend To Visit Once ( Peace Garden ) You Will Love To Stay Here. You Would Love To Visit Again & Again...!! Location 10/10 Food 10/10 Staff 10/10 Rooms 10/10 Cleanliness 10/10 Service 10/10 Beach Cleanliness 10/10 Rooms are very comfortable and and sea facing. The ( Restaurant is amazing ) by sitting at restaurant You can take enjoyment of beautiful beach & The Foods Served in the Restaurant are Very Fresh. NEAR BY PLACE Just in 5 Minutes Distance There is a ( SHREE GANESH MANDIR ) You Must Visit its Surrounded with lakes & very beautiful..!! I booked the sea front room but they gave me another room when I arrived, the owner said that he was really sorry and gave me some money but not the complete difference between rooms… there wasn’t A/C in my room, no hot water, the towels and sheets were really old and stained, the wifi worked perfectly.
