Heritage Village Resort & Spa Goa

Unfortunately our experience at this resort was very disappointing for 3 days of our 9 day stay. Friday morning at 2am, I was awoken by banging as they where setting up for an Indian wedding around the pool ,dining , stage area . The hotel guest were shoe horned into a space of 50 foot square . We didn’t not complain as thought this was a day event . We was felt forced to stay indoors in the area whilst the wedding went ahead . Saturday morning we was again awoken at 2am with banging , whilst they changed the stage , I have video footage from my balcony .We was forced to go out for the day as was told we where not able to use the facilities . Sunday the pool area / stage / dining area became busy again as the owners where having a banquet , they spent all day cleaning with heavy machinery , we again was not able to use the facilities and was shoe horned onto a small patch of grass during the day and felt forced to stay inside . . After 2 nights broken sleep, when at 00.15 am the owners guest where speaking very loudly in our corridor , I called down to reception very cross . I’d had enough , I’m the last person to complain , so hopefully gives you an idea of how bad it was. They dispersed the groups immediately, but by that time the damage had been done . The next morning there was a queue of guest rightly complaining . The General Manager & Tui Rep offered a free meal in the chargeable restaurant , bottle of wine and a direct transfer to the airport . They had been inundated with complaints . I did explain I will be making an official complaint to Tui and will not be endorsing their hotel . This resort is not large enough to host events , this resort did not offer the package in the Tui brochure as described, the animation team are none existent & the General Manager needs replacing . I felt so for the staff , who where put in such an awkward situation working tirelessly to make the now disgruntled hotel guest happy. The guest , reception and the bar staff tried so hard , trying to repair the damage the Management had created to line their own pockets . I would like to see how they defend this ?

We have just returned from an experience we didn't expect to have. We had been there just over a week when we were woken at 2am to banging and shouting. This continued during not one night but the second consecutive night. It turned out they were setting up a dance floor and arch's etc for a wedding. At no time before or while we were there had we been informed this was happening. Someone said that the wedding had been booked for a few years and when speaking to guests of the wedding we were advised it was always the intention to have it in the grounds and round the pool. After the first night of banging, we went down to find the sunbeds all pushed into the corners. Everyone was squashed up like sardines. This continued again on the second day of the wedding festivities. With more arches and canopies set up, however there was now games taking place for the wedding guests. The volume of the music and PA was that loud our ears were ringing. You couldn't hear if someone spoke to you. We asked for the volume to be turned down several times. But they just didn't take any notice. Apparently the wedding party complained that we were there. Why not we had paid for a holiday !!! All we could do was carry on playing sardines !!! It spoilt what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday. It was far from relaxing !!!! And we lost out on using facilities which we had paid for. We were not even allowed on the beach at one point ! The management just wasn't interested one bit and as for the TUI rep what a waste of space he was !!!!! Both him and the management told different people different stories !! Not impressed at all. Such a shame as a lot of people were left very upset. We as well as others will be taking this up with our travel companies as the hotel have pulled the wool over their eyes advertising the hotel as relaxing when things like this go on !!

Excellent Hotel , staff so helpful , can’t do enough for you , clean beaches just a few minutes away , food spicy but if not to your liking they will accommodate you . Andrew at breakfast was so helpful have great service . A beautiful hotel so peaceful rather than North Goa so if you want a relaxing holiday then this is the place for you

Firstly my expression of Heritage village club was Wow!! Loved everything about the resort. Food was amazing you had lots of choices. There were 2 restaurants mama miso Japanese and Bonita European. Both very elegant restaurants with nice food. We were in a superior room looking at the pool. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff are very welcoming and will do almost anything for you. The also have push bikes you can take and go wherever you like. We went to colva beach that was amazing. On a push bike took us 50mins. I had a massage there. The rooms are very clean. I have to admit I enjoyed the massage but not the oil pouring over my head. The massage was called SHIRODHARA personally I didn't enjoy it. I was nervous all the time. The whole holiday was amazing. We celebrated our anniversary there at mama miso. Our room was decorated beautifully with a cake and complimentary red wine. Then disaster struck 😔 The only downside was the night before travelling back I fell ill. It was my worst nightmare. I was hot and cold and went to the toilet on and off. Up until this day I still am. I feel drained. Awaiting results of what nasty bug I have caught.

We had a wonderful experience at the resort. The rooms are beautiful and cozy!the buffet spread was amazing and included goan dishes too. The pool area is very cool, and the entire vibe at the resort is so calming and relaxing. The beach is 2 minutes from the resort, they have bicycles that you can ride to the reach the beach!they offer many activities for kids, and my little one enjoyed pottery the most!

What amazing hospitality and peaceful stay it was. Good rooms with spacious balcony. They even accommodated our requests to upgrade our rooms to interconnecting rooms since we had kids with us. Lovely beach located at 2mins walk distance
