Tru by Hilton Cheyenne

Very minimalist, modern decor. Convenient location. Service was good and the breakfast in the morning had quite a few options.

First inconvenience was there was no coffee pot in our room and no ice bucket with cups. Hence, no cups to drink water, take our pills or rinse after brushing teeth. Second the container for soap, lotion, shampoo were “squeeze” the hard plastic and I could not squeeze hard enough to get the contents. My husband helped me get soap to wash my hands. The room was small, but very nice. One chair only. No closet. There was a bar with hangers attached to the wall. We took only the clothes we needed and left the rest in the car and they were safe. Roommate and bath were clean. Breakfast was good with a choice of boiled eggs or reconstituted scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, oatmeal, etc. If it had cups, I would rate 4.5. If two chairs and cups, I would rate a 5. Nice lobby for gatherings! Private party was going on when we arrived and plenty of room for people to talk. Family reunion would work well. Room

I asked for a room for two nights. Apparently the computer system was having issues and the guy behind the desk said their system had been having issues for a while. After waiting more than 30 minutes while the guy called his manager he finally told me to fill out a piece of paper with my credit card info. The next day after returning from my business appointments my card didn’t work to get back into my room. The gal at the desk said it already showed me checked out and popped some attitude towards me making it appear I was lying to her when it told her I had the room for two nights. I still had my luggage in my room. She finally went up to the room with me and let me in. I grabbed my stuff and went somewhere else. The whole experience was very unprofessional. tru Hilton needs to get their act together and make sure their systems are running at optimal levels. I will never stay at that hotel again.

Nice place to stay The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and we liked the shampoo and conditioners in the squeeze bottles.

This is our second time staying at this location and both times we absolutely loved it. The staff, the lounge area, the pool and the cleanliness of the entire facility is impeccable. Breakfast every morning was delightful. 10/10 experience.

Our room was simple but nice. Had plenty of towels, products in the shower, and pillows. Weather was unseasonably chilly so we did need to ask for a couple of extra blankets for our kids, and it seemed like 1 employee was running the whole place. He was super nice, but at certain times the phone was ringing, there was a line of people waiting to check in, and a line of guests needing help and we felt bad for him! We unfortunately had very noisy neighbors who were watching loud TV and running in the halls until after midnight, but the beds were comfy and we all really liked the breakfast and the common room.
