East Bay Resort Review June 26-July 3, 2022 If you are like me and read review after review about a property you have never been to, I understand how you feel. My company runs scuba trips all over the word and I want the best experience for my customers. With that being said, GO to this resort. It is such a wonderful place, from the accommodations to the food, to the grounds, to the diving, and ALL the employees. This is a great almost unfound location. Getting there is a little tough with the puddle jumper aircraft, but once there it is worth the effort. We took Caicos Express, check in with twenty-three people was a little tense and the aircraft was a disappointment, when you are flying over some of the most beautiful water in the world, you want to see it, but the windows were so scratched up you could not see out of them. There are other choices of air providers to get there. After landing at a very small airport, the staff is there to whisk you away. Once there we were met in the breeze filled front reception area by Melina the manager with a cold towel and bottle of water. Filling out the paperwork is a breeze, and you are off to your room. The resort is in three buildings, the two to the right as viewed from the beach are not in use, but big plans for those are in the future. The central round build is where the restaurant and bar are located as well as the gym and spa on the second floor. The other two buildings are where the rooms are located, they have 1 bedroom studio, 1-bedroom rooms and two bedroom and two bathrooms units. Ours, unit 1208 a 2 Bedroom and 2.5 bath had wonderful balcony to view the property and beach from, and a washer and dryer. Once your bags are tagged, CJ and Lincoln will take them to your room, and you are ready to start your vacation. If you are diving, you are provided with a mesh bag that you pack with all your diver gear and leave it outside your room. The next day on the boat your gear is on a tank and ready to go, you do not have to deal with your dive gear again until the day before you leave. We had the all-inclusive plan that includes all food and 21 drink package. We also had CJ take us to the local convenience store to pick up snacks and extra drinks. The food is great, breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at convenient hours and the staff is top notch. If you do not like what is on the buffet, you can order from a large menu and charge it to your room. The pool, grounds and beach are spectacular, towels are provided at the pool and beach, and there is a swim up bar in the pool, unfortunately it was not in service while we were there. Paddle boards and kayaks are provided at the beach, and the beach is cleaned several times a day to clear the sea **** that washes into the protected lagoon. The dive staff is great, like I said, once you pack your dive gear in the mesh bag, it is set up for you on the boat each day and rinsed with fresh water each afternoon. Capt. Nardo and Capt. This property is not at all as advertised - there is no gym, no spa, the food is not high quality and some of the rooms don’t even have curtains. Only a few if the restaurants are functional. The service is slow and it is misleading to describe it as a luxury hotel. I have lost trust in Marriott and *******.

We enjoyed the relaxed environment and friendly staff at this beautiful resort. There was a variety of food at the buffet and all tasted great. We had the all inclusive option and any drink we wanted to try was on our package. The resort is only about half built out so there are fewer guests to crowd the space. We went on a snorkel trip offered by the dive team at the resort. The views were amazing. We had a group of 6 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Loved this quiet lovely place. The team members at the resort were friendly and the beach was beautiful. Had a great time with family and friends. Quiet and peaceful environment to relax and have enjoy the sun.

Place was beautiful, and amazing. The room was perfect. The staff was phenomenal. Area around was beautiful. I would highly recommend staying here. The food was really good, the drinks were on point.

Enjoyed a week here recently with my wife. Entire staff is very kind and genuine. Enjoyed the calm and peaceful nature of this resort. It's very laid back and quiet. Enjoyed the very good food and drinks from the bar. We we're upgraded to the 2 bedroom suite and was very pleased with the excellent accommodations and views. Rooms were very clean and modern and the air conditioning was fantastic. We were able to scuba dive with (James andJodi) I hope I spelled correctly. They are the dive -shop managers and are very skilled at their jobs as well as providing excellent service. We' have been diving for over 25 years and attest to their attention to detail. Highly recommend these first class people. Very well run,and safety oriented. The resort is shutting down for a major renovation soon. To reopen sometime in 2024.
