Choice Hotels promise a certain quality at all locations and this location does not deliver. While the hotel staff was wonderfully nice, the hotel is ultimately in poor condition. Maintenance is abysmal. Furniture is incredibly worn, chipped, scratched, frayed and in need of replacement. Fixtures in bathrooms are cracked, stained and peeling. Carpets wrinkled, stretched and worn. Pool stained, cracked and peeling paint. It's just everywhere you turn major attention is needed. Leaning on the edge of the pool lent to scum transferring from the pool edge to swimsuit leaving the swimsuit dirty/stained. The top of the desk in our room was so swollen that a cup couldn't sit flat. I should hope that given the new hotels (doubletree) and other options in the area that this hotel undergoes a serious renovation in the near future.

Price wise this was the lowest one within a few miles of Burlington. All the hotel chairs do this at busy times and tonight was a good example of what you had paid wasn't good value for money. The front desk member of staff was really good. The hotel including the room were showing signs that a refurbishment is probably due. The room size was good. Sofa, desk, fridge, microwave provided. The bed was very comfortable. The coffee machine was ok, WiFi had security issues so I had to skip that. The bathroom again looked like it was due for a makeover and whilst not used, the jacuzzi wasn't looking good. Breakfast from 07:00 (this was a Sunday, so possibly earlier on weekdays). Standard choice of items including waffle maker plus two cooked items.

Breakfast options were plentiful. Great colorful rug in dining area. Room interior was clean, tidy and cared for. Pleasant housekeeping staff and front desk associates.

This is a solid hotel for the price and location. Breakfast was good. My one major complaint is that there is no gym/exercise room even though it's listed as an amenity on the site.

The room toilet was not working even after having someone come in and fix it we tried to get it working at least 3 times and still nothing.

Very limited choice of breakfast and too much carbs and not strong coffee (too much water in the coffee). The entrance on the back (from the parking entrance) was hard to get in with the hotel card didn’t work. So we had to walk all around to the main entrance. The room is very clean and has a big space. The staffs were friendly. That is why I gave 3 stars overall.

I enjoyed our stay, however it did not seem to have a working air conditioner. Luckily it is Spring and still colder weather and wasn't extremely uncomfortable. Other than that, the stay was nice. Thank you.
